This thread was regarding an awards Sakshi won during the Big Star Entertainment Awards. We already had an initial thread posted by a member regarding the awards ceremony and therefore any further news regarding the award show or any winners/nominees in it should be continued in a posted thread. If everyone was allowed to make a new thread everytime one of their favorites won on this award show or if every member was allowed to make a new thread to express their excitement about Sakshi winning the award.. I am sure you can understand how this constitutes a repetitive thread. 😳 I can understand the excitement and I encourage it. But you are welcome to express your excitement in the already established threads.

Picture threads are not allowed to be posted. They were overlooked initially since we were hoping that members would take heed of the forum rules and refrain from them. But after 4-5 months of the same behavior continuing, it seems that a reminder is in order. Pictures should only be limited to the picture gallery. If members want to discuss a picture, they can do so in the respective actor's AT. But posting new threads just for pictures ends up resulting in flooding the forum and really hinders discussion - no one really has anything more to say about a picture other than how good or bad a person looks. There really is no scope for discussion for the most part. And such admiration can be continued in the AT appropriately. 😊

A thread wishing happy new year will be considered repetitive simple because it is repetitive at this point. If you do however wish to discuss and share favorite moments of BALH, you're are more than welcome to open a "Favorite moments of BALH" thread instead of a "Happy New Year" thread. But if I am not wrong, the mentioned thread was not just a thread to discuss BALH favorite moments. It was a new years thread where members were being asked to wish each other and post any BALH moments if they like. And that makes it a new years thread, I suppose.. 😳😊

Sorry for diagreement. I respect your decesions. It's my opinion that things wolud have done in better ways. It hurts when the forum is already lacking in good discussions & topics. The few loyal members try to make efforts to post the topics to keep us entertained here. It is disrespectful to them to do so without prior notice.

I appreciate the efforts of 'Dev team' but please dont come so harshly & close the topics.Others too have the other priorities.😃

Oh you are more than welcome to disagree with us! Our intention wasn't to hurt anyone and we apologize if we ended up doing so. I can guarantee that it was absolutely unintentional. But that being said, the forum is lacking good discussion topics primarily because repetitive/one-liner/picture threads are flooding the forum. If all that members see in a forum is a spam of topics to ensure that the forum gets higher ranking for "number of new threads" without paying any attention to the CONTENT of those new thread, I can assure you that we will not have any good discussions. The sole purpose of cleaning up the forum is to allow for better topics to grow - sort of like weeding. We need to weed out the repetitive/one-liner/picture threads which end up being counterproductive to discussion to allow for better topics to prosper. 😊

As far as prior notice is concerned, the rules thread posted by Vasu earlier in the year and the Imp Topics/Rules thread posted by lilindiangurl13 have actually already mentioned and warned members on these topics. 😳😊 And I am hoping that everyone here has taken the time to read through the forum announcements before posting.. Because if they had, they'd realize that everything I've said here has already been mentioned in those two threads:

I really want to emphasize the fact that CONSTRUCTIVE criticism is NOT bashing. We as a forum need to STOP ostracizing people for having a different and sometimes NEGATIVE opinion of our favorite. It is OKAY if they don't like a character. It is OKAY if they say that they don't. It's their right and it's freedom of speech. Now the views expressed may have been different than yours.. But they are still allowed. Because not everyone has to like the same thing. 😊

We need to stop accusing people of "bashing" characters/actors without due proof. And for this reason I suggest that if anyone has ANY doubts about whether a post could be considered as one that's "bashing" characters, PLEASE PM us.. Report the post.. Let us help you because that's what we're here for. We'll look into the matter for you and we'll take appropriate action, I assure you. But by preemptively accusing members of bashing, all we do is make them feel unwelcome and create an unhealthy forum environment. And that needs to stop.

So please, in the future, if we have any doubts about the propriety of a post, let any one of the DT members know and we WILL look into it. But lets be patient and tolerant in the meanwhile. 😊

hey fivir , i would just like to make some points, i hope it is allowed

1. not repeated( kindly check back 2-3 pages before initiaiting one) .
2. does not have a speacial sticky assigned( for eg about trp slot leader there is a specfic thread for it put it there).
3. can sustain a discussion or could entice some views, meaning that what is already being said but in other words need not be expressed as a new thread but could be a part of the exisiting one.

right now holding onto postion 8 was very good, but looknig at soem other forums, with some shows expected to end/shift. touch peak the journey gets very tough, so we need extra effort to try ot maintian the same position.
