You have hit the nail on the head - they have reached a better place following them avoiding each other and she fearing him. He is aware of her calmer stature with him and he had something to do about it, by finding her in the kitchen and willing to support her to help with Jigar and Rashi. Moving on now will be much easier for both when with each other.
