As Rashi's birthday party moved on to the dance and snacks so did Ahem and Gopi remain together.
The highlight was the dance scene.
Ahem and Gopi were mesmerised and captivated with each other on the dance floor. Without moving to show the partygoers that they were dancing, they danced privately in their minds. Both of them were besotted throughout the song as the lyrics played out what their hearts reflected - he with his eyes more warmly and opened while she with her eyes having more willingness and being comfortable in his presence. Their faces portrayed a sense of gentleness and appreciation that was not seem by either of them for each other for some time (the last being in Navratri).
Just what was Ahem thinking? The male lyrics said: That life would be one day so beautiful, that this sky would sway and this earth would sing, I'd never imagined it ...That one day I would lose my senses like this, that you have come near and I'd be enraptured in this manner, I'd never imagined it. He could not fathom how in his mind he has come to have feelings for his wife. Someone who is there all the time, taking care of his every need and keeping his family happy.
As the music faded and the lyrics ended did they awake to reality and at the dance floor simply staring into each others eyes.
This moment was a magical one. Will he reflect on it later?
One thing to note in today's Ahem and love:
* With Jigar enquiring from Ahem since when did he become romantic, Gopi-ism was clearly shown on Ahem's face and with him not knowing where to place his eyes. The stone heart has melt so much that his face is reflecting what his heart is feeling - more so now after the dance.
The party is not over. The journey of one pair on bangles has reached it's destination, it seems. The other is yet to tell its story.

and also agree that they were kinda not aware of the surroundings and danced prvitaley..would have just loved it if it had happened a bit in real as well.
that liine was so cool i think :) aap itna romantic kabse ban gaye/...i was lol..
but for a sec I had thought that Ahem will not negate Jigar (coz ahem and gopi are one and the same)
agree, party is not yet over...i would have still loved it if they ahd danced a bit...but the song selection was damn good

You are asking for something that they cannot give just yet. They are inwardly enjoying the moment whilst outwardly, what everyone and us are seeing, they are merely staring at each other.
This outward view of them is what is not gelling with many of us. Agree, they do need to up their game as characters but it could be the pending mother son conflict that may distance them / bring them closer further.

Great Analysis Swasthi, and I love that you always find the positives in any Gohem scene. If one were to watch it the first time it just seems like a filler scenes.

Although I thought the dance scene was lacking, the camera focused on both at the right moment to convey the meaning of the song and I guess that is something.

Truthfully I liked the other scenes better than the dance scene. They showed that the awkwardness that took place after the accidental kiss is slowly fading and once again they are comfortable with each other, where on the dance floor, even though they were lost in one another, Ahem looked too stiff, which is how he always look whenever people are watching them together.

It's not that he doesn't have feelings for her, but he doesn't want anyone else to see those feelings either. When Jigar was gifting Rashi the Knagans, he was only watching Gopi smile, he didn't bother glancing at Raji at all.

Also when Jigar said since when are you so romantic, he looked pleased by this.

I am going off on the side here.

Things I noticed: When Koki saw Ahem and Gopi on the dance floor, she noticed the distance between Ahem and Gopi, where as Jigar and Rashi, even with Jigar knowing Rash's truth, made the effort to look like a couple.

When Koki overheard Jigar and Ahem's conversation, noticed she said Ahem is helping Jigar and Rashi to come close, she never mentions Gopi's name.

So yes the twist is coming, but Koki will not turn against Gopi, but Koki once again will think back and realize that on the surface it looks as though Ahem has feelings for Gopi, but he continues to hide.

Her upset is not that he is coming close to Gopi, but she is upset because even after all that has happened Ahem continues to hold back from Gopi, but has no problem helping Rashi, who is liar and a cheat to come close to Jigar.

I think we have had enough of Urmila and Gohem helping Raji (which still doesn't suit me) and anyway looks like Jigar is well on his way being back to happy bunny like his mom. Lets move on already.

I am ready for Koki to bring her twist and for god sake in the process bring out some kalakari's.

I am usually very positive on your post Swasthi, but this whole thing is becoming too sickening and I am sorry for ranting.
