Bala, Kathadi, Ashok and Vetri - all come to know that the next day is Nila's B'day. Vetri wants to make it memorable for Nila . Ore ideas galore - including buying a diamond ring a la karthik - "bike ai vithuttu ring vangen " Bala vetoes the idea " ada pOngada, athu namakku rAasi
illai " Looks like the group has a plan. Nila meets Vetri and is all sad. Says that she always celebrates her B'day well with friends " but this time akka 144 pOdaraanga " Vetri says that Corress has an axe to grind with him " but why don't you call all others and celebrate happily??" Nila says that her "friends" circle is complete only with Vetri. Vetri says that they will celebrate her B'day with fanfare "wait and watch, ok??' ( intha Nila summa friend friend nnu buruda viduthu - athu Vetri kitte move panra style suggests "some thing " else, eh ??) Karthi, Bala, Kathadi, Ashok and Vetri - scale the college compound wall. Enna matter?? They plan to decorate their class room - as usual oru periya discussion happens before the wall scaling adventure 😉

Nila is waiting - for the clock to strike 12 - 12 am arrives and the first to wish Nila is her sister. Comes with a cake , sings the most sung song and cuts the cake. Nila gets calls from all and sundry - no call from her BF . She wonders why Vetri has not called ( athu sari, confirmed, intha pOnnu kku Vetri is not just a friend !! ) She calls him but he is not picking. All are busy decorating the class room. Bala wants to know why Vetri is not picking Nila's call - Vetri says that he wants to maintain the suspense issue.

Kathaadi and Bala - playing watch dogs - guarding the decorated class room. Vetri warns them " kOnjam Sothappina life gaali daa !! " Karthi comes and takes Vetri away. Bala wonders " enge da intha Appu and Ashok??" Ashok and Appu peep from inside - " we are waiting for Nila inside " Both Bala and kathadi want to go and have breakfast. One girl comes and shouts at Bala who stops her from entering the class room. Bala puts on a "thangachi " act - "namba class room le yaarO bomb vaichu irukkangalaam, whoever enters first will ..." the girl runs away . Slowly students gather outside the class ..Bala and kathadi have a tough time stopping them. Finally Nila comes...opens the door...sees the decorations..."oh my God"

Nila kku surprise - confetti rains , cake on the table. Nila vazhiya, Vetri vazhiya... Roja mathiriye Kaathadi gets irritated - "yovv, apram vazhinga, muthalle cut the cake " Cake is cut, Oottal to all happens. Sakthi and his friends also come in. Pandi is livid but Sakthi says that Nila is their classmate " Namakkum ava friend thaan, what is wrong in celebrating her B'day?? Sit back and enjoy " His friends are not happy " Sakthi , ithu villangam , sOllittOm " Bala takes the stage and calls out to Appu " Namba college Oda Michael Jackson will dance now " Appu does a kUthattam, the program continues , all are enjoying. Kathadi and Ashok are again sent out to guard the door. Corress comes there - both the boys sweat profusely but manage to ward her off " Sullan's class... we did not do the assignment...we are sent out..." Corress leaves the arena and the boys heave a sigh of relief.

Hmmm, Sullan the villain arrives just then - apologizes to Corress " sorry madam, got delayed.." Pasanga maatti kittanga doyyy Corress takes Sullan with her, enters the class - Ange Ore kummalaam and kOndaattam - Corress fumes, calls the night watchman and dismisses him then and there. Shouts and wants to know who organized all this . First Nila says that it was all her doing " I was not allowed to celebrate my B'day with my friends at home, mam..so..." Corress refuses to believe her " You organized your own B'day??? POi vera yaarukkavathu kAthu kuthu, ok??" Then one by one every one claims responsibility. An angry corress calls Sakthi and his friends to her cabin. The boys say in unison " we also came just then madam, we have no idea. We joined the celebration because Nila is your sister and we thought that you arranged all this " Corress gives an ultimatum " 4.30 pm...this evening...if you do not come clean...none of you can study in this college, ok?? Now, quit .." The boys are scared...Corress gloats...

All the boys are worried about the outcome - "PadippOma , maattOmaa??" situation. Karthi suggests that they should talk to Sakthi. Sakthi says that he will never mention Vetri's name -
" you are already in trouble and I won't make it worse " Well, all the boys are called to meet the Corres. Nila comes and pleads " they did it for me, I do not want them punished" Akka says
that she can not help " this will be a precedence and the college will become a kalyana mandapam, no way " Nila says " some thing happens to my friends... then neenga ennai ninaichu kavalai pada vendi yirukkum "

Well, to cut a long story short , none of the boys are ready to accept responsibility. As Corress is ready to send all the boys out, she gets a phone call from home - "amma, Nila amma yethO
tablet sappittu ttu mayakkamaa irukkanga " - the whole room gets to know this news...

Kabadi kabadi and more kabadi - Vetri's team VS Sakthi's team. Each side is pepping up their
members. Ashok talks as if he is giving a lecture in an Ivy League school - " class mates, maama macchan laam field le kidaiyathu , they are our enemies, we can win only when we think like that." Well the teams start playing - needless to say that Vetri's team sothappufies big time - pasangalukku Kabadi nna enna nne theriyalai !!! Sakthi team nalla pirichu meyaraanga !!! Swetha supports Sakthi and Co. Nila and Jaya support Vetri's team . Half time

Swetha and Nila are getting drinks for their friends. Nila picks a fight with Swetha -
" why are u supporting the other team?? And you laugh when our friends bungle??!!" Swetha
is categorical " See, I look at this only as a sport. Vetri and Co have no clue about the game !!!
And so, why should they challenge?? You support one team and I support one, period " Nila
has no valid retort !!! Bala, Kathadi and Ashok are lamenting about the body pain " mapple,
venum nne adikkarangadaa !! "

Second half - as expected Vetri's team loses. But the referee selects Bala as a reserve player. Class room - Sullan comes and gets to know that Sakthi, Pandy and his other friend are selected .The principal comes and says that the students are not supposed to make any galatta for Valentine's day - " ithellam namba culture illai ..galatta pannininga...tholainjinga..." Vetri looks at Nila...Saravanan looks at Divya...Swetha looks at Sakthi...Valentine's day is already here folks...😉

Valentine's day special - kadalai, kadalai and more kadalai 😉

Ella pasangalum kaile Rose vaichikitti alaiyaraanga. Sullan is playing watch dog -
just short of singing KOlai vEri 😉 Bala proposes to a senior and once Sullan catches him
calls the senior "akka " Ashok has a gift in hand. Sullan and Principal see him, confiscate the
gift - Ashok says "senior anna kuduthaar " - Sullan opens and a gloved hand punches his face.

Sakthi's friends play a trick - give Swetha and Sakthi a gift each and announce that it is from
the other. Sakthi is annoyed, goes and fights with Swetha and learns that his friends played some trick.

Vetri and Nila - Nalla reel suthuthu intha pOnnu , friend aam, nambittOm kannu - Vetri gives her a ring , Ore romantic candle light dinner place. As luck would have it, Nila's akka, the Corres is also there - pasanga mmm mmm maatti kittanga

Vetri and group - vexed with the way they got wounded in the kabadi match. To fan the fire,
Principal comes to the class and announces " Sakthi did our college proud. He wins the inter-
collegiate automobile competition and has earned himself a bike as prize " Vetri and Co fume
some more. Sakthi and co gloat. They go around the college in the bike, Sakthi gives a ride to Swetha ...Bala and Kathadi are fuming.

Bala and Kathadi steal the bike for a ride. bingo u guys guessed it - the bike meets with
an accident and is fit for Kayalaan kadai. Bala and Kathadi are also hurt.

Bala and Kathadi - bike ai yumOdaichittu nalla adi vere . Vetri gets to know the scenario.
All go to fetch the dilapidated bike. Vetri takes it to a mechanic friend who offers to work
at Vetri's house - " if u want it repaired fast, that is the only option " So bike is taken to
Vetri's house.

Sakthi and his friends are devastated. They are suspicious of Vetri and Co but prefer
to keep it to themselves. They complain to the Principal " police complaint kudukkalaam ,
Madam " Pricipal says that the Correspondent is away " avanga vanthathum we will see"

Correspondent is back. Principal keeps her in the loop. Correspondent knows
that the bike is stolen. Corres asks the princi to promise Sakthi that he will be
given a bike. : police laam vendam, make sure, ok?? And find out the thief too "
Sakthi's friends break in to Vetri's house and find the bike - as a heap. They come
and inform Sakthi who wants them to keep quiet " avanga parents kashta pattu
padikka vaikkaraanga, we should not spoil their future " Pandy can not stand this ,
starts crying.

Swetha comes and gets to know the details. She sees Vetri walking along with Nila -
rendum kadalai podaraanga . Swetha is furious. Comes and shouts at Vetri " can you
be more cheaper than this??" Vetri says that it was Kathadi and Bala who took the
bike for a ride " appO thaan it broke " Swetha shouts some more and Vetri gets angry
"Kabadi game le when you supported them..appO ve unnai Othaichi irukkanum.."
Swetha slaps Vetri ...Nila slaps Swetha...

Recap of Swetha and Nila slapping each other - Rendum rOmba Aaduthunga !!! Sakthi scolds Swetha for slapping " it is not right " Swetha says that she got angry when Vetri lied "some one has to point out his mistake and I did it, period " Pondy supports Swetha and Swetha moves away as Sakthi repeatedly points a finger at her. Pondy scolds Sakthi for being mean to Swetha and Sakthi says that he is actually very happy that Swetha supported him - "but all the others are angry with her as she is more friendly with us , I can not stand when some one ridicules her " Swetha comes back and says that she will never do such a thing again . Karthi is back - Bala and Kathadi act as if nothing is wrong but Karthi knows the whole story - slaps both of them and shouts at them for making unnecessary trouble for Vetri. Nila comes there too - all decide to coax Vetri to come back to the college. Karthi says that he will see Swetha "one hand " - asks Bala and Kathadi to return the bike to Sakthi and apologize.

Kathadi and Bala return the bike and talk as if they did a favor. Try to advocate for Vetri - " we did it and it was he who repaired the bike with his money , do not hold any grudge against Vetri " Sakthi and Co refuse to believe them . Kathadi shouts at Swetha for not believing Vetri - finally Sakthi asks them to go away. NIla and Swetha - another useless fight - both want to show that they are close to their respective boy friends - thaangalai !!!! Swetha says that Nila is the spy of her sister - "finally ellarukkum Oru Aappu vaippe, appO thaan pasangalukku unnai puriyum "

Senti dialog from Sakthi. Karthi comes and apologizes for Vetri. Sakthi says that Vetri does not apologize even now " you are all rich, can buy a car or bike . But I am a poor fellow and come from a remote village. I work for my living and fund my studies . My whole village was happy to hear the news of my winning a bike. All these days, I never once felt sad about being poor. By all this I now hate rich people. You guys and us...can never be friends, enemies thaan. But, don't worry, I will not complain about Vetri , I will not spoil his education..." Karthi feels bad..

Saravanan and Divya - Divya approaches and Saravanan hides his book . Divya feels bad that
Sara dos not believe her - " unga veet le pOttu kudukka maatten, ok??" Sara goes down the memory lane and says that it was Divya who made him write poems - rendum kOnjam vazhiyal😉. Sakthi and his friends are talking about some activity for the college. Divya comes to them and suggests that they can conduct a Kavithai competition. The next we see ...is...Ashok comes running to his friends ..." Notice board...namba Gaali..." All go and see that the Kavithai competition is announced after all !!!!

Karthi and Co kku semai kaduppu - athu sari, namakku thaan padippum varathu, matha skills um illiye !!! - all go to meet the correspondent and want the Kavithai competition canceled. " Naanga ellam nalla padikkanum nnu Aasai padarOm, engalai distract panraanga Madam " Corres can not fathom this line of argument " If you can not just keep off. people who are interested can participate , what is your problem??" Finally Kathadi says that they will go on a "fast until death " strike - " if you do not withdraw the competition " Correspondent asks them to go and fly a kite " no withdrawing, enna vena pannunga "

The guys are getting ready for the fast - Ashok brings a banner and starts writing some thing - calls it Tamizh but the rest beat him up saying that they do not want a board in Telugu. Nila comes , Bala announces that Nila is the sponsor for the strike - " pasangalukku drinks, lunch..ellam nee than " Nila laughs about the "Hunger " strike and says that no one will support this - " either you guys learn to write poems or just keep off the competition and concentrate on your studies, ok??"
