I feel jyo is not really cheating her parents. Even after all these chaos she is not ready to marry Karthik without their consent. Its because of her insecurity and fear of her father that she is reluctant to tell the truth. The only fault she did was agreeing to marry Aravind!

More than right or wrong, she is confused. People who do not have the courage to own up their love for some one, should not fall in love. Jothi is worried about her father's health and mental block - which is understandable - esp a father who supports his daughter even when she inordinately delayed her decision - but why should Arvind be led like this?? For no fault of his?? He was totally straight and reasonable about his interest in Jothi!! Jothi should have told him the truth long before the engagement and clearly told him to keep off her.

ya of course. she is confused. anyway its not a fault to fall in,love with a person and wanted to marry. the only problem that she has is she is not outspoken.
