Is the above a view (then what's trolling)?! Wait, I have to look for some other definitions of a 'view'. All my life I've been so naive as to think that views originate from one's reason and logic. Now I know even without the least required sanity, one can express one's views and those views have to be respected too.
There are people who hold the 'view' that women who don't dress 'properly' have only themselves to blame if they get molested or even raped. Sane people are often found to be expressing their strong objections to and outrage at such a view. Now I realize how unfair and undemocratic those protesters are not to respect 'views' and 'opinions'!
How much filthy nonsense can be tolerated in the name of freedom of expression? Why would a reactive expression of disapproval and disgust be deemed an attack, heckling or mocking, and not exercising the same freedom of expression? And sarcasm is one of the refined ways of showing one's disapproval, as opposed to a slanging match.
A mere character of a sadistic soap, Archana, who is admittedly brainless and has very low self-esteem, is not the one who is being defended here. Prasad is continually splattering a public forum, which has a large number of young impressionable visitors, with his disproportionately hate-filled and obnoxious 'topics' written in a crass manner. It's not only the words, but his thoughts that are perceived to be obscene by many members.
I've seen scores of sentences posted by Prasad so offensive that only a couple of such sentences written by someone else would normally be enough to have them banned -- and I've seen that happen on different forums too, even on this one. I restrain myself from trying to figure out the reason for the special treatment received by Prasad. He's not a victim, quite the opposite.
