SBS 27th Jan-Viraj ka Pagalpan

A girl is sitting in a room and Viraj comes to visit her..he giver her a burnt doll n seeing it the the girl starts screaming..the reporter asks Karanvir who the mad girl is n he says u hav to watch the epi to know this, n everyone wil b shocked when they come to knw abt her..voiceover says the viewers that the girl is none other than Viraj's step sister Payal, who has been sent to the mental asylum by him..Viraj himself has tortured the girl so much that she has become crazy..

I am afraid that was what the VO suggested but then does not this turn his character totally black?I had hoped instead of bumping off his character, the Cvs would have delved deeper into subjects like paranoia and personality disorders. That would have been a first for Indian television, otherwise mental conditions are portrayed only as child like behaviour.
