Funny title, isnt it but the episode was rather emotional. Wedding it was after all and that too of AnYa. Lets revisit.
The jewelery mannequine - Navya was to be dressed in the wedding attire and jewelery from her in laws for the pheras. But Meeta wasn't granted that last opportunity. BD entered with her Bahus and asked them to leave Navya in their hands and they would get her ready according to the Bajpais honour. Now that was really touchy😭 where Meeta could actually feel her daughter being taken away from her. Even the dear friends Appy-Ritz cudn't help feeling the same. The girls then proceed towards their next mission - joota chori.😛
And they succeeded with the slightest effort. It was time for the pheras and poor Navya had to get decked up in all the jewelery and heavy clothes available to turn up for the pheras. Yikes. Uncomfortable she was but definitely looked pretty.😊
The long awaited marriage - Yes, after a struggle of 9 and half month, errr, 2 years, the love story reached its destination. I was excited. But emotions soon overpowered my excitement. As Deepu was called in for the Kanyadaan, Deepu and Meeta's eyes welled up and so were mine. Tears trickled down😭 when Deepu was told he had given away their daughter's hands in the hands of Anant and henceforth she was to figure her parents in his. But this marriage definitely had its share of evil smiles, hard words and poisonous thoughts. Navya did pretend to smile😳 amongst all her discomforts to make her parents at ease, but even this wasn't left. Hated Rama😡 as she pointed out how a smiling bride could be threat to her in-laws. The vermillon pinch reached the forehead, the sacred Mangalsutra reached the neck and the pheras took place making our dear love birds a newly wed couple.👏 DheemTana is definitely one of my favorites.
Sadu BD - Why, tell me why this acid tongued old hag can't staple her mouth for this day at least? I guess only to earn my gaalis.😡 Who the hell is she to take away the right from a mother to care for her daughter. I could easily see how hurt she was.😒 Must be thinking how helpless she was just leaving her dear daughter in the hands of those inhuman creatures. Does this hag think Navya is another piece of furniture which they knew how to handle. Grrr.😡 I felt like lashing out at her when she handed over bundles of money as shagun to show their shaan.
I am always emotional at any bidaai and this was no less. Loved every bit of it. So real were the expressions by everyone. Anant on the other hand wasn't allowed to be with Navya at this tough time.😳

1. Kshitee and Girish deserve a big round of applause for depicting a bride's parents with such ease and such realism.
2. Even Gudiya got a close up for the first time.
3. Why weren't the special guests Amar-Sharmi visible in the wedding? Didn't they turn up?
