Thank GOD these city dwellers got their minds to use twigs as tooth brush.

But they are far inferior in showing basic common sense by which they could have made their living easier.

They eat without salt but could not think of converting salt water into salt which they could have done easily.

Did they explore forest for food? I doubt . They may be just depending on producers

arrangement with coconuts. They got help with the presence of Hen and Chickens.

Of the most fishing should have been tried out at first place. May be none of them know

Fishing.

In one of the episodes they showed that Tayak's found sweet potatoes in the forest...they sure did enjoy them a lot..😃

Tayak's tried to go fishing too...but unfortunately couldn't go too far as their boat capsized..

I didn't see the celebrities fishing/looking for food...I guess they think that may be below their dignity to go looking for food.

A lot of celebrities in CATAN (before the reassignment) are vegetarians ...so no incentive to go fishin'..

I think you need to watch the videos a lil more closely 😃

They use sea water for cooking, so that serves the purpose of adding salt. Was shown in one of the videos from the very first week. I think it was Rajrani or Shilpa's video. Do check it again!

Yes, they did explore the forest/island for food. This week's videos show Tayaks discovering some sweet potatoes, but when they come for their task... Abhinav (An original Catan member) says they have been cooking Sweet Potato in different forms (Barbeque, boiled, etc) which clearly means they have been looking arnd for food at different places and have found different stuff to eat. It's just that we are not shown all 3-4 days worth of videos in 40mins! Also, in 2nd week's episodes Rajesh was shown hunting for crabs and snails. They were also shown boiling and eating them.

They did go fishing... We just remember the most recent footage or lets say love pointing flaws, but Shivam once said (In 2nd week's videos) that he went fishing with hand and caught few very small fishes. Sometimes it's just not possible to show everything, and it's not fair to assume and make remarks saying these contestants lack basic common sense! Maybe we all wouldn't fare any better when left on the Island like them 😃

I don't want them to show killing of animals..🤢

Hmm I'm Happy seeing the celebrities repeating their clothes and showing their face without makeup..😆

Good one there!!! I wouldn't want to see that either...why kill innocent animals for food..The chicken episode was a bit sad😭...

But that's how life is? Have u guys ever been to a broiler center or a poultry farm to buy chicken? Forget the animals, if one ever visits some food processing units; we would come out telling ourselves that we are not eating that stuff ever again... But we go back and eat it! Chicken episode was definitely sad, but they can't ask the production crew to get them cleaned chicken breast, can they? 😆

I know this makes me sound like an inhuman person or whatever, but believe me... Even I love animals! 😃 I am just being practical!

^ I am a vegetarian so yup its even worse for me... whats the difference..If they can send chickens for the teams... why can't they provide something else like dal.. In fact Y can't the contestant not eat meat for the duration of the time.

Its life,Yes but TV has a choice to show it or not.

Me too... I don't even eat eggs! But I still don't see the hua... If we can kill plants, then why not animals? Just bcoz animals can make some noise and tell us they are in pain 😕

That reminds me, Atlas hasn't eaten anything properly in 2days and he isn't complaining... But it worries me

They were given dal... Uff, this is the reason you shouldn't watch the show in a marathon 😛 And why shouldn't they eat chicken? If they can go fishing and cook fish, then why not chicken 😕
