Today's episode had some amazing JV scenes that compelled me to make this post. A lot happened today...starting from the utterly cute drunk Jeevika scene...then the bike ride followed by the convo abt the yester years (loved it)...and lastly, the Church scene. So, accordingly, i'm dividing my post in three parts. I fear this will be long again...but I hope that you all enjoy it. Will be waiting for your comments, as usual.😳
Mere Rang Main Rangney Vali:
I know you guys must be thinking that why have i chosen this title. Will go to the reason in a bit...
After yesterday's episode, my friends and I were hoping for a continuation of the drunk Jeevika scene. Reason-- precisely what we got in today's episode. The only thing, wish it was longer.
As Jeevika, in her drunk state, walks by her hubby's side...we see her wanting to fly like a free bird, living the moment, swaying around, talking, smiling, blushing...and the emotion of love over shadowing every other emotion.
Mr. Vadera...i really wanted to see you on your toes, trying to control your drunk wife as she kept on throwing a bouncer after the other. This couldn't get any better. Fari, Yashi...we got the scene that we were discussing last night 😉😆
Jeevika madam jumped up the raised platform, not paying heed to Viren's idea of going back to the room...coz it was her calling the shots this time. And she wanted to fly high.. rather than going back in the confines of the room. As she continued blabbering... Viren matched her steps, his hand reaching to hold her's, in case she loses her balance and replying to whatever she was saying. From handling bouncers, he even had to try his hand at catching (his coat)! 😆
The best bit comes when she says..."Viren ji, i wanna tell you a sceret..." and his expressions go like.. ."ab yeh bhi bata do.." 😆 Jeevika sits...and in a low voice says..."muqadma chaley ga..." And this is where my title comes into place..."merey rang main rangney vali..." Living with a lawyer, loving him, being his companion...the effects--Mrs. Vadera caught the germs very soon...in a matter of few days. 😆 She has completely rangofied in his rang..and even in this incoherent state, what all she comes up with is a court room scenario! 😆😆 This is what love does to people!
Mrs. Lawyer Vadera...you were damn adorable as the prosecutor. Just as Viren started to say something abt the muqadma, the prosecutor became the Judge 🤣 "Silence in the courtroom...order, order, order..." OMG!! I cracked up big time on this whole thing. 🤣 Priceless expressions, fabulous voice modulation, and superb hand gestures followed this, as she ordered Viren to bring her down. And her wish was obviously his command...the "thank God" from him conveyed how big a relief it was for him 😆
KD completely STOLE the show here. She is setting new standards of performance with every passing episode. Today also she ruled in the dunk scene. No OTT-ness, no loudness, no shriekiness...it was all utterly cute, and subtle. LOVED the entire scene...thanks to the superb job done by the actors. Every single expresison that KD gave...it was bang on! Usually drunk scenes are the most loud one's...but here, she did an exceptional job. Not for a moment her grip on the act loosened...BRILLIANT! And KT matched up with her. Everytime he said "araam se.." it had a different tone...😆 The expressions, nuances, voice modulation...everything was perfect again. These two complement each other in every way...and their strong performance is really doing wonders for the show.
LOL..coming back to the scene...As soon as he put Jeevika down, she made him stand against the wall. Viren stood there, in the "witness box", waiting to hear the allegations against him😆 A very serious allegation it was...he dared to look at some other girl and the witness to this is none other than his wife herself. 😆
The naughty streak comes back in Viren's mind as he asks Jeevika who this wife is. She stresses.."its ME"! And declares that he'd be penalized for this act. 😆
Hearing of the penalty, the culprit seeks permission to give arguments in his defense...which was granted to him immediately. A very clever argument, i must say..."Mrs. Vadera, at the cruise, u were busy handling your hair...then u were checking your mobile time n again, and in the process it fell also, so u bent to pick it up...also, ur kohl smudged n u took out a mirror from ur bag to clean your eye.."
"All the arguments are right...but what relevance do they have?", a confused Jeevika asked. She didn't realize that Mr. Lawyer had very cleverly cleared his position and negated all the charges against him. "If all the time my eyes were on you...and i know what all u had been doing...how come I saw some other girl?"
Bringing her closer to rest his arms on her shoulder, Viren gave the concluding argument..."if someone's wife is so beautiful, why would he look at some other girl"! How very simple, Mr. Vadera. With such strong ending statement, the verdict came in his favor. The case got cancelled.
But wait...not to easy, Ms. Presecutor...such a serious allegation on an innocent person requires a compensation! And the naughty Mr. Vadera asks for a kiss, as usual 😆 No coyness from his wife this time...in fact, she agreed graciously to grant him the kiss. But something's never change...he has to work hard to get a kiss some other time...as this time, just when he was on the verge of getting it, Jeevika collapsed in his arms😆😍 Blame the mocktail...and he carries her back to the room!
Tum Jo Aye Zindagi Main Baat Bun Gayi...
A new day, a new morning! The couple sets out to explore Goa on a bike..with the bodyguard following them on another one 😆
A very simple scene...yet it looked extremely beautiful, thanks to the small gestures done by the actors. Viren extended his hand for Jeevika and holding his hand she got on to the bike...he then gently made her hold his waist...smiles n blushes were a permanent feature..the site seeing...the background music...all in all, a very well etched scene. I LOVED the bit where they shared the drink and the side hug was the BEST! Loved how Viren completely circled his arm around her...and gently rubbed her arm. Such a small thing...but it was MAGICAL!

And then they reach the Church. The convo there...a new dimension of the relationship was shown. Loved how easily they talked about their pasts, their parents, the memories, and the void that their parent's death has left in their lives.
Their camaraderie, the level of comfort they have developed, the growth of their relationship...everything is just great. They have shared their lives in true sense...the yester years, the present as well as the future.
I felt esp sad for Jeevika, the way she said abt her dad that how he always did what his heart said and he married the girl of his choice. The sadness was written on the girl's face..coz she has seen the repercussion of this. She has grown up seeing Beeji not accept her mom...and a part of her still hurts coz of this. Even Viren saw her sadness and loved how he changed the topic...to bring a smile on her face...and he succeeded. "Its good that ur dad married ur mom...coz otherwise, tum na hoti...aur tum na hoti toh mera kya hota".
Jeevika then said how she wished that her parents were there to see them settled so happily in life. I was all set that Viren would say the "famous" dialogue that they are still with us in the form of stars 😆 but was very pleasantly surprised when he responded in a very matter of fact n practical way. Yes, even I believe that the children are a reflection of their parents. Me's very impressed by the writer here...and also, it was good to see that in the whole scene Viren was very composed and practical. Jeevika obviously was getting emotional, and rightly so...and i really liked how Viren acted in the whole discussion.
So Viren's dad was more like Virat...and he and Dadaji weren't on very good terms..hmm...interesting! This defo comes as an important development in the story. Smart move by the CVs!
And finally...
Ke Bun Gaye Ho Tum Meri Dua...
Hand in hand they enter the Church and get seated. Viren closed his eyes to pray...and loved how Jeevika looked at him there for a few seconds. She then joins her hands also to pray and closed her eyes to connect with the Lord. It was his turn to look at her now...
Seeing her pray silently, his heart was overwhelmed with love for her...and his only prayer was that she gets whatever she has wished for...
And the turns change again. He saw her opening her eyes...and not wanting to get caught looking at her 😆 he closed his eyes n got back to praying. The same love was flowing in the dark hazel eyes (KD's wearing lenses in the scene...right??) and the same prayer came from this heart also..."may he get whatever he has wished for..answer all his prayers, coz his prayers are my prayers now.."! Smiles were exchanged...loved the expressions of both of them here.
They got up and after lighting up the candles simultaneously asked..."kya manga"? Viren seemed too eager to know what she prayed for. 😆
The prayer was the same...wishes for the other's happiness. Soulmates indeed!! And tightly holding each other's hands, they turned to leave the Church!

Done with my long rant...hope haven't made you guys doze off! 😆
Beautiful scenes we're having! KT-KD are doing an exceptional job. Loving them n loving JV courtesy them! 😳
