Rumour has it that the once popular Jassi has some difficult times ahead. Apparently most channel heads are rejecting serials that have Mona Singh in the lead. It seems that the good ol' Jassi doesn't excite the channelwallahs anymore! Why, you ask? The reason, we are given to believe, is her weight. Mona's kilos (and she's put quite a few of them in the recent past) are coming in her way now. A bespectacled Jassi is fine, but a fat one… er… doesn't look like many people like to see her that way.

But hey, what's with the small screen? Weren't we told that she was to star in a film to be produced by Bobby Pushkarna? Aha! Now that's another story altogether. Bobby does have a lot of expectations from Mona… what he doesn't have are the funds.

i dont hink she looks fat.. thougoh the thing is that she kinda is pushing her back in while doing the pose which makes it look like she is gaining

Ohh, this is so sad. Well, there are so many other fat ladies doing the lead roles and Mona is still so charming and a wonderful actress.
