Wel guys in my family i only av 1 bro. Altogether der is 3 of us including me. I av a little bro n sis. In my family we all are treated da same but as i am da oldest my bro n sis r treated wid more love n care.

I also fight alto wid my bro as every bro n sis in da world does. My bro is smaller dan me but he still sticks up 4 me. I mean at da end of da day after ur parents it is ur bro who is der 4 u n who is gonna protect u. I av only 1 bro n dat makes him special also.

In a while now n den i do av arguments wid him but l8r we make up coz we care 4 each other. I luv him loads n i know dat when he is older he will be da 1 who is gonna be der 4 me n my sis. I fink dat dis is kind of a responsibility dat every bro haz do protect deir sisters n be der 4 dem.

I have seen this in many families, in my family i have 2 younger brothers and because me and my sister are older we have to do more. But my brothers do their parts to. Zamanah badal gayah hain and my parents are now gettin it now so my bro's to do the same as we do, if they dont then we complain and make them.
You guys should watch my 8 yr old brother washing his dishes 😆 he takes half an hour and then says wow this is sooo easy 😆 , he also likes to hoover and takes it off my mum, he says that it's fun.
Seriously though times are changing and the asian view is changing. I know a lady who looks after her mother and has been doing so for 40 yrs, so yep dats all

Family are more depended on Sons; men! In my family, even my mom supports my brother and I get mad at that reason, but its not that she thinks he is more worthy - all she has to say is he is smaller so its your fault 😆
But there is no doubt that asian families give boys more importance. Why? because they are men? stronger? better? smarter? I don't know...but it pisses me off at times 😆 😳

umm, well my bro never gets special treatment! both of us are treated equally. he is the prince and i am the princess of the house 😛 he does get some good treatment if he is giving me some advice and i am not following and my parents agree w/ him 😳 😆 but other than that i am usually the one who is pampered, coz he is 7 yrs elder to me. 😳

as for the house chores: i currently live w/ him alone in US while my parents are back home in India. We share the house work (although usually i end up supervising more than actually workin 😛 😆 n he hates me for that 😆 ...but oh well 😛 ).

I think the topic should have been "Whats wrong with our parents?" because there is nothing special about our brothers 😉 ...and ultimately when push comes to shove in one's old age one can always count on ones daughters to love and care far more than a son ...at least thats what i believe......anyway i think i am one of the lucky few who had her brother always crib "whats so special about my sister?"...so i guess i kind of had it easy 😃

Pooh! U are a mind reader!!!😲😆😛 I was thinking the same😉...this topic should be re-named as wht's wrong with our parents ..(Not mine😉!)..

I totally agree with u on the second part... Wht i have observed in the traditional families and society is that in some cases sons tend to be more materialistic at times (Now all the guys don't bash me for making this statement... 😆.. becoz #1 im not generalizing.. but i have seen such incidents... so it does happen at times.. #2 any one who bashes me will receive a tight kick and punch.. so stay away!!!😆😆😆)

Anyways jokes apart .. Women do have got that soft touch and strong sentiments/connections when it comes to their parents ... it is but natural.. i have seen my siblings and my mom's connections.. u people won't believe but usually they can sense if something is wrong going with mom and vice versa.. even if they are not told abt the situations... I remember my mom got operated some yrs ago and we haven't told my sisters abt that... but after the operation i and papa received calls from both of them saying "Is everything alright there??? Where is mom??" ...recently last yr when mom went to vacation without me(I was having some document probs) .. same thing happened to me.. i remember that i was feeling something terrible inside ... and i called my sis and she told me that mom went to see the doctor... Now this is something that I call "Untrained Telepathy" and mom calls it "Her heart-strings connections"... 😳😆
