Section 3
"So that's all your going to get?" she asked him
"Well yeah..." he said looking at his cart.
"Aggghhh.. You spoilt brat. Just leave it. You can use what I got" she said rolling her eyes at how naive he was with being domestic.
"Umm ok" he said sounding relieved.
He paid for all the groceries and packed them up in the car. When they got to the building, he parked the car and she helped him carry all the bags to the condo.
Once everything had been unpacked, she looked at him and decided to ask him a loaded question.
"Have you ever cooked a meal before?"
"No.. But I can try" he said.
"Well I don't want you to burn down the kitchen in that case, so I'll cook. But that means 3 meals at home every day. I will get breakfast ready in the morning, lunch will be packed and ready to go and dinner will be served at 8. You will be in charge of the dishes"
"Why do I have to clean up?? We can hire someone for that!!" he said
"No. I don't want your "minions" around this place. If I am going to live here, then I want to live the way I have always lived. I can take care of myself and that's that. Since the place is so big though, we can get someone to come in to clean up every other day. And no, you can't order me around. I'm not your servant" she said firmly.
"Ok Ms. Bossy Pants!" he said smiling at her.
He knew that he was going to have to get used to it. But he enjoyed it.
"So can I watch you cook?" he asked curious to see what she was going to do.
"Sure. Why don't you help out actually.. You can peel the onions" she said as she handed them to him.
"Ok" he said thinking that it was an easy task.
At Kushi proceeded to get everything ready for dinner, Arnav started peeling onions. After the first, he had tears in his eyes which he kept trying to wipe off but it just got worse. He wasn't going to give up and look like a COMPLETE BRAT in front of her. She already sees him as an arrogant, entitled "Laad Gorverner"..
Kushi looked over at him and noticed what was going on. It looked like Arnav was fighting a war with the onions. He was grimacing and she smiled at how innocent he looked. At that moment, the onion had more power than him and it made her laugh.
"What's so funny??" he asked looking up at her.
"Nothing.." she said walking over to grab a tissue. She walked over to him.
"Turn around" she said to him.
He put the onion down and turned towards her. His eyes were clouded with tears and she reached over and wiped them away gently.
He stood their silently and watched her while she dabbed his eyes and looked at him as if he was a child.
"Go sit down over there and you can watch me cook today.. Maybe you can help me some other day" she said quietly.
"Ok" he said sounding like a 5 year old being told he had done something naughty.
He walked over and sat down as she prepared dinner. Once she was done, he helped her set the table and they ate quietly. After they were done, he took the dishes to the sink and washed them up as she made them a cup of tea. The quietly finished the tea and decided to call it a night.
"Looked like the onion won the war today didn't it?" she said as they walked back their respective bed rooms.
"Arnav Singe Raizada never loses" he said arrogantly.
"Sure he does, he's just too bad of a loser to admit it" she said sarcastically.
Before she had a chance to enter her room, she realized that he had reached over and grabbed the door knob.
"What did you say?" he asked her
"I said your a bad loser" she said with her back turned to him
"Why don't you say it to my face?" he said
She turned around to look at him. She knew he was playing with her, but she was ready for it
"I said your a bad loser Mr. Raizada" she said defiently again
"Oh really?" he asked
"Yes" she said feeling her heart beat faster and faster as he leaned over to her
He was so close that she could hear him breath. He touched her face with his free hand and watched her tremble. She felt him get closer. And then she felt his lips again. Those rugged masculine lips and before she knew what she was doing, she kissed him back. She let her senses go free and let him run his tongue all over her mouth. She was hungry for more and he responded to her by pressing his body against her while demanding for more. She felt all of him against her and she pushed herself against him. He ran his hands through her hair and started moving away from her lips. He wanted to kiss every single part of her body.
He moved away from her mouth and kissed her face while she stood there wanting more of him. He worked his way down to her neck. She let out a little moan and ran her hands over his back. He had her pinned against her bedroom door and he had awoken something in her. Something that she did not even know existed. Her mind knew what she was doing was not right, but her heart and body responded differently. She felt his strong body against her and she ran her fingers through his hair letting out another low moan.
He did not know what had come over him. Just that he had wanted her so badly and she had responded the same way. He felt her breast against his chest and he couldn't take it anymore. And then she moaned again. That was it. He immediately broke away from her.
She looked startled. For a moment, it seemed that they were both entwined in their own world. She looked into his eyes and saw that they were darkened with passion. She knew he wanted more and she wanted more too. She had to get away from him before she did anything that she would later regret. She immediately realized that she was standing by her bedroom and opened the door and ran in locking it behind her.
He stood their kicking himself. He had completely lost control and he had wanted to take her right there in the hall way. And she had responded to him. That had shocked him and made him want her more. He had felt her skin on him and was still aroused. He knew that she would be the death of him if she didn't agree to marry her soon. He had waited a year for her and his body was yearning for her. He didn't know how much longer he could go before completely losing control.
Arnav slowly walked over to his room deciding that he needed another long shower. He had another restless night ahead of him and he wasn't looking forward to it. "How the hell am I going to survive 3 days with her let alone 3 months at this rate..." he muttered to himself..
Chapter 1
She spent an hour sitting in her room sulking when she finally decided that she was going to have a shower. She walked into her new bathroom and decided to make use of the tub later. Right now all she wanted was a shower and some food. Once she had finished, she walked over to her closet. It was really too big for her, but it was her favourite part of the room. She picked out a pair of skinny jeans and a simple fitted Kurta top. She generally would have opted out for a tee shirt and a pair of leggings at home, but now that she had to share the space with Arnav, she was more self conscious of what she wore. She then moved over to pick out some underwear and found it all bunched into a drawer. She blushed at the thought of him seeing her bras and panties... It was too intimate and she immediately shut the thought out of her mind by reminding herself of who really was. Or at least who she thought he really was..
After drying her hair and putting it up in a simple bun, she walked out of the room towards the kitchen. She decided to see what was in the fridge and all the cupboards. She was starving and she wanted to eat something.
It was all empty. The fridge was empty and the cupboards were completely bare except for all the dishes and cutlery that were stacked neatly in one section. She frowned at herself. "He has all that money to waste, but no food in the kitchen.. Pffft!!" she said out loud while she continued to explore the kitchen.
"That's because I don't really eat home cooked meals when I'm not in Delhil. I prefer going out to eat" she spun around to see him hovering over the kitchen in amusement.
"Well I don't. So I'm gonna get some groceries" she said looking away from him.
He had also had a shower and changed. He knew that she would have to come out of her room sooner or later to eat and he had been waiting to hear finally leave her room. She had then proceeded to make a racket in the kitchen by slamming all the cabinets so he decided to make an appearence.
"Great! I'm starving too. I'll drive you and we can get some stuff. I was thinking of Chappathi tonight with some lentil curry. But do hold on the chili cuz you know how much I hate it" he chirped on looking innocently at her as if them going grocery shopping and her cooking for him was something they did regularly.
The odasity of this man, she thought.
"No that's fine. I'll go get the groceries and I'll cook however I want too" she said sternly not willing to give in.
"C'mon Kushi, I wanna pick some stuff up for me as well so let me come with you. And fine you can cook however you want to and I'll cook my own meal ok?" he said
"Fine. Lets leave then" she said
"Ok I'll give you a few minutes to get ready" he said
"I'm ready. Let's go" she said.
"Like that???" he said looking at her.
He had already noticed that what she was wearing was not what she normally wore around him. The skinny jeans hugged every part of her shapely legs and her top was fitted enough for him to see her beautiful curves. The lack of any visible skin on her left him wondering what lay under the fabric and he didn't like it. Well he liked it.. Just not the part where he knew the kind of attention she would get from other men.
"Ummm.. Ok" he said biting his tongue.
They walked towards the elevator and got into the car quietly. He drove to the grocery store and started looking for parking.
"Please park the car close to the entrance" she said
"But I can't find any parking close to the entrance!!" he said frustrated
"What are you talking about?? I can see a spot from right here!! Drive! Drive! Drive!!! Before someone else gets it!!" she yelled
He immediately did a U turn and got into the parking spot. She started clapping like a child in glee.
"Yay!!! We got it!!" she shrieked.
He smiled at how carefree she looked at that moment knowing it wouldn't last. She immediately noticed that he was staring at her and felt uncomfortable. She tried to get out of the car as soon as she could, but realized that she couldn't get it out as usual.
"If you stop fidgeting, I can get it off." he said.
He reached over and undid her buckle and she practically ran out of the car.
At the grocery store, they both decided to get their own shopping carts to get what they needed. They met at the cash register 30 minutes later. Kushi had filled hers with all the necessary essentials and Arnav had a packet of flour, packet of lentils and coffee in his. She looked at him and giggled.
After drying her hair and putting it up in a simple bun, she walked out of the room towards the kitchen. She decided to see what was in the fridge and all the cupboards. She was starving and she wanted to eat something.
