6 months or a year?

I'm really confused... I know KriYaansh met for the first time in Dehradun on new year's eve..
but when was the next time they met?(matlab in college) was it 6 months later or just a few days later?

I remember Smriti told Kriya, after getting her back from the jail, that they were going to Mumbai the next day. But after Sham hai koi, when Rey was talking to Kriya on the phone he asked her 'Aaj se 6 months pehle did you think we wud be talking on the phone like this at this time...'

so I'm confused😕😛
