For actor Harshad Chopda, the festival starts early in the morning: "I used to wait for this festival. I have many Gujarati friends and this festival used to drive us all crazy. We used to meet early in the morning on this day and start flying kites from 6 in the morning. I have always been extremely fond of flying kites and fortunately I was a master at it too. This Makarsankranti too I hope to be with my childhood friends. I wish all my Gujarati fans a very happy Makarsankranti."

My family celebrates it too, but we are from Karnataka...It is celebrated all over India, but not necessarily called the same. It is a big festival for the Gujratis--the kite flying is legendary in Gujrat & parts of Maharashtra as well. When I lived in Mumbai we used to have intense kite flying competitions on our building terrace... 😆

Hai...they should ttly have a kite flying competition on DP...hawa, hawa mein patang, aur patang ke peeche MohUr... 😍

Nads, I've seen this word many times but never got the meaning of it...What is "Spoiler"? 😕 Anyways it's a Gujraati festival, so hopefully we will get to watch it in the show but it's still the second day of new year there naa? 😆 I guess it won't be so soon...

Anyways I want MohUr to enjoy this festival to the core without any punishment or whatsoever and Sia witnessing it and burn severely...😊

Spoiler is just word used to give inside info to something or somebody everybody may not know. 😆 Like a SBB & SBS segment that is a spoiler cause is giving insight to what is going to happen
