Yesterday was Lohri and tomottow is Sankranti ..

Today is Pongal ... one of my fav. Fests ... even after being far here in Delhi ... a friend of mine celebrates this festival so well .. and traditionally ... never miss out on the pongal dish prepared !!

And even Bhoghi ... is today ... a festival that's celebrated in Andhra before Sankranti .. this day is basically a day to bless kids .. where chane's along with pieces of sugarcane .. and some coins mixed in that are poured on kids with blessings from all elderly .. the coins and all are later distributed amongst the elderly.
