Everytime she begins the fight with her ego, she looses it! As far as swayum qutting the college is considered... Well he just can't see her with sumone else... So hez just running away... Well we've have to just wait and watch how sharon will stop Swayum. :)

As Yasri said already, you raise a very good point. Sharon's acceptance of Swayam is a sort of double edged sword now, cutting her image and esteem either way. She has to accept being both a bad judge of character, as well as a shallow mind in showing inclination now that his riches are common knowledge. And even is Sharon and her diva charade has been shallow from day 1 - her own recognition of it, and further ordeal of acceptance as such feels like such a blow to her never bending personality and image!

You know what was the most contradictory shade of what we saw in Sharon yesterday? It was not the entire removal of the mask of frigid aloofness...it was so much more than just that.. what I felt different in her yesterday ..was when Swayam carried her by his arms..did you see the way she reacted? She said "No way"...as if these two words indicated the risk of her drowning , of falling somewhere she has been running away from all along...of someone else winning and assisting the real Sharon to win over her body...and the way she said those words...damn ,you FEEL it , you feel a battle fighting inside the pigments of her skin...you know that this girl is unwilling to gather herself up in his arms because her heart instantaneously defies her head , defies every cell , tissue , neuron possible , because OF the passionate explosion of her heart...it lurches in a way which makes every figment of her body numb and non-functional...and that is EXACTLY what followed...Swayam did not want to meet her eyes...but for the first time Sharon was helplessly staring into those empty , hurt brown swirling pools of irises with a sort of desperation which neither she could fight and nor she could handle...this attraction was basically nothing but an internal battle inside Sharon..the battle between the scorned woman and the ice queen inside her...and in the end..like always..the ice queen won..and yet interestingly on the surface , for the first time , the scorned , injured woman inside her did not lose either 😉..She could not handle her heart beats and her eyes becoming more impactful than her shallow , artificial attitude and empty threats...it was beautifully portrayed...and the main difference YESTERday was the injured , stained woman inside her did not lose.....because finally..not only someone has taken her heart to home..but has made it FEEL completely and irrevocably as well ..all this time..of course she could feel...but it was as if she used to let her heart have a huge lollipop and stroll around the whole bustling world , by making the heart have a huge probability of not returning back to her body for as long as the journey of time...but then the poor heart grabs Swayam's neck instead for some shelter and sticks it fiery tongue out at her each time whenever Sharon looks at Swayam..and now...voila! ...the heart is not only getting back to her chest but , feeling explicitly for the first time , completing the entire journey of FEELING --- the slow , natural process of feelings flowing through dormant yet, alive veins...❤️...Swayam , finally..Sharon has found her heart even after making it run away...but probably it was destined to grab onto you in the first place? 😳

JZ... First I wouldn't want to read the post coz of the length... but surprisingly, it felt like I spent only one minute reading... it was very interesting to read your povs despite your kind of difficult language... if I'll have a chance, I'll post my comments too...

Accepting Swayam is going to be a big blow to a lot of ideals Sharon stands for in her life. With such outward conviction that no one would imagine her to be otherwise for real.

I think the interesting part here - the most interesting in fact - that Swayam is the one person who can make this acceptance very easy for her. The person she anticipates will humiliate and reproach her the most, make her feel lowly and shallow, is in fact the person who has always seen that good in her heart which she primarily chooses to keep dormant! The way her mind works, she cannot imagine anyone, most of all Swayam who bears the worst of her most often, to not make a spectacle of her confession of being wrong. The irony is, it is before Swayam, and him alone, that she has ever confessed her mistakes, drunk or otherwise, and he has never thrown anything back in her face. Yet, somewhere, she cannot comprehend how anyone in his place would not make an episode out of the fall of the mighty diva! Sharon for all her inner goodness is not a forgiving person - and she doesn't understand that virtue in anyone else as such. Not even Swayam who literally personifies the trait. And the insecurity of it all plagues her enough to keep her holding on to her charade as long as she can.

ps: Yasri - I'll bear the point in mind, and try to come to it... in time! 😊

Regarding the length... I have no issue with it... it just that I opened your topic immediately after I woke up, so I had no mood for long stuff at that time... but being the writer is you, I did.

It's very true Austen (should I call you that?!) Initially Sharon was shunning Shatanu because he was just another Sharon smitten weakling charged by her glamour! But the more she knew him up close, the more she was shocked each time at his understanding on her person - the real Sharon - that she keeps away from the world. And for a long time now, she has been shunning not a Swayam who doesn't deserve her - even if she poses that as her reason - but a Swayam who threatens to cast away her mask and reveal her true self to the world! And that threat is a risk the diva cannot take, she cannot let the world know she has a heart, which can in fact sympathize and empathize with people lesser than herself!

And like you said, yesterday in the battle between shunning away the guy who threatens to unravel her truth, and being drawn to him for the exact reason that he can see through her layers - the latter definitely gained ground. I wont say its won all the way through, because she still tried to feebly resist him - but yes, it was feeble, and easily dismissed. And when he gathers her in his hold, she fears and wants equally to be altered by this man who has it in him to melt the Ice Queen!
