Okay this is going to be a long post. Get your popcorn/tea/coffee ready before you sit down to read - and make sure you have no pending homework of course!

Title credit: A 'fangle' is a flashy or gaudy new innovation. Sometimes in reference to a flashy new ornament. I use it to define Sharon's new flashy (and shallow) eye candy - Shivam.
A 'tangle' is obvious enough. Something twisted and entwined. As the lives, minds, ideologies and very existences of SwaRon are, at this point. Tangled into a seeming mess which appears so impossible to resolve with each added event.

So luckily for us we didn't have to deal with Shivam's jerkface today - in the literal sense - but there was the looming threat of him coming in any second, from the moment Sharon's cell (of all the cursed devices) got lucky (not!!!) with that momentary revival of signal and was used to send out that SOS text. Not really a mystery who got the text, and no longer a mystery then how the dimwit Shiavm found his way to the gang. If ever there was a person with an intentional and unintentional masochistic streak, its Sharon! There's no dearth of those times when her ego too big to be swallowed comes in the way of her heart's true happiness - but today, of all the days when she was actually at least partially taking the bitter pill without being her worst stuck up self, she had to 'unknowingly' make the mistake of seeking Jerkface's help! Really Sharon?! After that entire night of wallowing in remorse, he's the one person you can think about calling for help in Swayam's presence?! Honestly, sometimes she's so slow, I can almost imagine her being Shivam's dimwit equal.
But anyway - let's make the most of the meager reason we got to rejoice about today.
* Sharon for once in her lifetime actually let down a guards. Just a tad, yes, but its a feat as far as Ice Queen goes! Her remorse, and inevitably softened attitude towards Swayam was no secret. At least not from us viewers. There was the right amount of dejection, the right moments of fleeting hope, the right amount of her characteristic resistance and avoidance, then the right amount of hesitant humility in making up, and the right amount of sneak peaks. Everything about Sharon today was the outcome of a conscience ridden guilt shadowed person, who despite the usual charade she wears around day after day and is most accustomed to, can't help the mask from falling just a little today, when she is at one of the most vulnerable emotionally challenged point of her being! Being weak is obviously not Sharon's forte, and she doesn't know how to deal with it at all, so you gotta give the girl some credit for how well she behaves! A fumble of acceptance from someone like Sharon to a 'rejected candidate' like Swayam says more than a willing warm teddy bear hug would say from a person of lesser ego! So even though Swayam is too occupied himself to realize himself, this is actually one of those brief moments of glory that he could actually toast to, looking back in retrospect 😆
* Coming to Swayam. He showed every sign of a defeated soldier. His patience and practicality was more resigned than anything else. During the dance fest, his resignation had been only partial - only telling himself Sharon was a lost cause, and yet inherently setting himself a new target of moving on. Today, Swayam was doubly defeated. He is at that point of self evaluation now where he realizes that Sharon is not the only lost cause. Getting over her is just as much a lost cause as far as he goes. Whatever little fight he still had within him during the dance fest, on account of living up to his new set goal of moving on from Sharon is also well beaten now - and whatever semblance of solace he was getting from telling himself (and Rey) that he was happy to know Sharon is happy, even if without him, is a lost cause now. He knows it pains him to a point he can't bear, and he knows there's nothing he can do to fight out his own self! That was the Swayam we got today. The Swayam who helped Sharon not in hope of making a point to her, or himself - but plainly out of civility. And that seemingly indifferent civility was what got to Sharon really bad. When Swayam had burned all those love souvenirs in the locker room during the dance fest, there was still a part of him that was making a point to her. Proving to her that he was moving on, and that she wasn't. I dare imagine that if Sharon had pulled off something similar now, Swayam would have walked away without word or action. It is that defeated that he feels atm.
Which IMO explains why we got the kind of recap that we did get. Swayam realizes he can no longer fight not being with Sharon, and certainly not seeing her with someone. He realizes whatever his fight about moving on was, is lost for good. So what can he do? Remove himself from the frame. He can't stop it from hurting. He can't fight it out. But at least he can stop himself from having to witness his lost cause day after day and live it up with a brave face? So yes, he chooses the path to escape. It may be a weak man's path, so be it.
Which is also where the writers, IMO again, are paving path for Sharon to take a step already! Sometimes, it is in having no more ways out of a problem, that finally gets down to making their own way. Sharon so far has been all about seeking ways out! Ignore Swayam. Ignore his feelings and confessions and confrontations. Ignore her own heart and its feelings. So much so, that even when she feels all out guilty, she ignores to seek out its cause but only blames Swayam. But what if she can ignore no more? If there is no Swayam, who will she ignore? Making a point of proving to Swayam how much of a nobody he is has been Sharon's greatest vocation of recent times. What will she do with all her mind and time and heart when he's not there anymore? She'll realize there are no more ways out. So even if she must all but ignore him, show him down, blah blah blah - she must get Swayam back! ☺️
Or so goes my current hypothesis 🤓 Open to all SwaRon fans for discussion/debate and all that jazz! Do find your way to the 'post reply' tab and gush/rant away with your takes! Before Shivam makes his jackass entrance tomorrow - because post that I fear most of us are going to be in a expletive ejecting mode 😆
As a side note to wherever and whoever you are dear Universeji, please remember you are not Kriya Ghai's personal property; and since their love story is quite on track, please look around for others in dire need! 😆
Also special thanks to the writers to involve Kriya and Rey in some kind of promote SwaRon scenes. Thank heavens for balancing out that act! Rey gets an extra pat! I lurked around the forum and realized Kriyansh fans are getting restless about it, but honestly I cannot imagine what college life is like, if not interfering and 'helping' out your friends to get set in their love lives! The whole aspect of 'poking your nose and taking liberties to play cupid' is such a vital part of undergrad when I think back to mine. Or anyone else I've known! It's unreal to imagine it as a super set with subsets of independent love stories all growing in their own space!!!
Btw, I loved Sharon's expression at Kriya and Swayam hand in hand, LOL, but I'm not sure it isn't going to become a primary reason for Sharon to exaggerate her nicety towards Shivam when he comes to scene. Then again, its time our diva learns to control her green monster and not lead herself to worse things every time she sees Swayam with anything in a skirt! If she can't have faith in Swayam's singular fidelity - there is just no guy out there in the world to win her trust!
