I really believe that Viraj is the one who got Jahnvi's father in this whole mess with the debt.. he is not just sick in the head but he's truley evil
1. The first time Jahnvi's family visits their house: To make sure Jahnvi doesn't spill the beans about him being an abusive husband, he pays off her father's debt and throws the papers out in the open so they're seen in time for her to keep her mouth shut.. as well as getting Jahnvi's sisters into the best schools.. there was no need for him to do that but because he did that, now Jahnvi feels indebted to him and stays mum.. exactly to his plan
2. After he rapes her, he doesn't want her to tell her parents so he gets her father mobbed and turns himself into a big "hero", therefore again getting Jahnvi to keep her mouth shut
3. When today, one of the men that were leaving the house after they threw rocks at it, gave a look to Sanjay as if to fool the audience into thinking that Sanjay might be behind this whole trauma.. but in fact I think Viraj is trying to trap Sanjay and put the blame on him for this whole ordeal
4. To punish Sia for breaking the statue, he pretends the car's brakes have failed and terrorises her quite some time.. and to keep himself in the good light about all this in front of Sia's parents, he teases her by saying how scared she is and how he'll tell everyone, which in turn makes Sia say she doesn't want anyone to know how scared she got.. going according to EXACTLY his plan
He is just SO unbelievably cunning its disgusting
Imagine the day when Jahnvi finds out that the "hero" of her family's troubles was also the villain, everything will come crashing down
