It's true that a character like Viraj can go to any extent - but how low will the CVs show him?
If they want to be realistic in their approach, then Viraj should not be shown to be involved regarding Jahnvi's father's trouble...it will be OTT and too predictable.
Guys, even I was of the opinion that Viraj could be the reason for the charges being put on Jahnvi's father since he wants to buy Jahnvi's silence in lieu of doing favours for her family, But the reason doesn't seem deliberate evilness, just a coverup for his impulsive act. Also almost all his actions suggest that he is doing them for satisfying his sadistic side which is a result of his abusive past, be it hurting Jahnvi because he believes all women get friendly with other men with the intention of infidelity just because his mother supposedly did that, or being too obsessed with the decorum and order of his house just because he doesn't want to get realised that he needs a servant, or taking a (really childish) revenge on Siya (yes guys it was pretty childish, I've played scarier tricks on my friends than this when I was a kid)
As much as I am of the opinion that Jahnvi should revolt, I also want Viraj to be sent to a doctor instead of jail. We have examples of extreme psychics committing really hideous murders as well where the convict was sent to an insane assylum to get treated instead of jail, even though the illness cost a life or more.
With reference to this, I recollect an example of a NACO campaign which said that hiding a sexually transmitted disease only adds to the pain and risk and shouldn't be concealed due to the fear of embarrassment in the society. No I am not spreading AIDS awareness here 😆, just trying to say that Jahnvi really needs to speak up and let everyone know before anything majorly serious happens
