At NCCW office Anupam tries to talk to Madhavi. Madhavi is mad at him for hiding the fact that Anjali is his ex.girlfriend. She asks him what if the opposition lawyer had used this to turn the case? Tanvi says media might make mountain hill of this small issue. Anupam says that he didn't hide the fact on purpose. He just thought that the issue was irrelevant to the case. Also Anjali is now married. He apologizes. Raghav asks everyone to forget everything. All smile.
Raghav and Tanvi go to Priya lodge from where Mira Nikhanj and Hajeeb escaped. They ask the manager if he knew that Mira and Hajeeb were underworld dons. He denies. They ask who the owner of the lodge is and manager says its Ms. Nigam who lives in Bandra and gives them her visiting card.
Anupam and Madhavi go to Khazana restaurant and shows Anjali's photo to the manager and ask him if he knows her. Manager says she is ACP Anjali Manjrekar. Anupam asks how he knows her. He is a bit scared but tells them that she used to come to the restaurant to meet famous builder Sanjay Shah. They ask who the owner is and he says Ms. Nigam.
At NCCW restaurant everyone comes to the conclusion that since both lodge and restaurant are Ms. Nigam's and also Mira Nikhanj, Hajeeb and Sanjay Shah ran from these places indicates that Ms. Nigam is connected with the underworld. Madhavi says they need to gather proof to take action against her.
Madhavi and Anupam go to housing board office and ask the clerk about the properties in Ms. Nigam's name. Clerk doesn't give them first but after Anupam bribes him he gives them all the details. Madhavi is not very amused how Anupam bribed that guy. But Anupam says sometimes you have to do things in the wrong way to get right results.
They go to Joint commissioner Amitabh Verma's office and tell him that they think Anjali Manjrekar is framed in the issue. But he doesn't heed to them. He asks if NCCW's new job is to reunite lovers. Anupam warns him that when NCCW brings the real truth out he will know what NCCW really does(good job Anupam👏).
Madhavi is having breakfast with her husband Vikram and daughter in her house (a very beautiful one). She is reading newspaper and is suspicious about an adv. for talent hunt contest in Hotel Mayur because the phone number looks familiar to her. But the name before the phone number says Kapil. She tells Vikram that she has got a call from that number and checks her cell and surprised to find that number belongs to Deepak. She tells Vikram that she would go to Hotel Mayur first and then to court.
Madhavi goes to Hotel Mayur and ask manager to meet Kapil. Meantime Deepak walks out and manager tells her that he is Kapil. Madhavi is surprised and runs after him but he walks off. The court is in session but Madhavi doesn't reach on time. Opposition lawyer asks Anjali if her lawyer ran away. Judge is angry at Madhavi's unreliability to the court.
At Madhavi's house, Anupam is shouting at her for not showing up in court. He says because of Deepak issue she is not concentrating on her work. Vikram and Raghav try to cool off the situation. Madhavi is sad. At night after everyone leaves, Vikram tells Madhavi that she did a wrong thing by going in search of Deepak and not to court. Madhavi admits that she was wrong. Anupam calls her and apologizes for shouting at her(so sweet!! they are best buddies). Madhavi is happy and they plan to meet at court next day.
At court the hearing starts. Madhavi asks Anjali to explain what happened before she was leaving for Priya lodge raid. Anjali says when she was about to leave for Priya lodge; ACP Vineeta Chopra came to her room. Opposition lawyer asks why she is repeating the same stuff in court. Madhavi says to prove the call made from Anjali's mobile. Madhavi says when Vineet Chopra came to the room Anjali went out leaving her cell phone on the table and Vineeta called Mira and told her that there is going to be a raid. She brings Anjali's cell phone company's executive and voice expert who proves that the voice is not Anjali's. Oppostion lawyer asks then what about the 20 lakhs in Anjalis' bank account? To solve that issue Madhavi brings Anupam to the witness box. Anupam comes with the proof that Ms. Nigam has lots of properties including Priya lodge and Khazana restaurant from where Mira, Hajeeb and Sanjay Shah escaped. Sanjay Shah built all her properties. Ms.Nigam came to Mumbai from Raibarelly only 5 years ago. Her mother's name is Chintamani Nigam. Opposition asks why they are giving all these details? But Anupam continues says Chintamani Nigam's maiden name is Chintamani Verma and she is Joint commissioner Amitabh Verma's sister. Madhavi provides all the proof and says Joint commissioner was behind all this and he instigated Anjali into this. She says his sister Chintamani and husband are with Sanjay Shah in Kuala Lumpur now. To prove that she produce phone transcript of Sanjay Shah's and Joint commissioner Amitabh Verma's calls.
Judge rules that a new case should be lodged against Joint commissioner Amitabh Verma and sets Anjali free.
Anjali thanks Madhavi. Madhavi says everyone made equal effort especially Anupam. Anjali and Anupam look at each other (me says that this guy is getting cuter by every scene). Madhavi takes leave and goes to talent hunt contest at Hotel Mayur. The emcee of the show says that 5 models are selected to go to London and now the organizer Kapil will address the audience. Deepak comes and congratulate 5 models. Madhavi is wondering whey Deepak has changed his name? She hears a guy talking to someone about 5 models ready to be sent to London. Madhavi wonders what whole issue is about and what Deepak a.k.a Kapil is up to? Deepak is talking to some people and turns and sees Madhavi. He looks baffled.(okay now NCCW has got their next case.)
Special note: I request Rihhaee directors to provide a love interst to Anupam. He is a cutie. Can't see him alone.😛😉
