There are always two sides of the same coin and members need to remember this ...I hv got some 50 reports from both sides via PMs as well as using report button ...one grp is saying that other grp is making deliberate instigating comments to start a fight and other grp is saying that personal abusive attacks r made on them by that grp ...
Both the issues are against the rules and what I hv been seeing in this forum since 2 yrs now is that both grps r equally responsible for this mess because none of the grp knows how to ignore a comment and try to maintain peace in a post and none of the grps knows how to respect another person's POV if that POV is not targetting you but just the fictional characters in the show ..
If Ichha grp says Tapasya is shameless ..cant the Tapasya grp respect the POV and just move on with thier own views rather than personally attacking the member ..and if Tapasya grp is saying Ichha is shameless ,cant the Ichha grp respect it as well and move on with thier own views without personally attacking the member ...the problem is its more about ego clashes and one upmanship game happening around in the forum and in all this ,The members always expect mods to give warning to the other grp so that they can hv the upper hand in the game ,,..Right ??
Do u all think we mods r not humans ..we dont hv our own life ...we too might suffer from personal losses at times na ./..so cant we be for once human and try to respect each other's POVs because neither Ichha nor Tappu r our real but the members of this forum r real ...Right ?? ...So try to b human and respect each other's POVs and learn to move on if we dont agree with something ...Dont always expect mods to come and scold people like principle ...u all r not in a school here and nor I m the principle ...We mods are here to guide u all and moderate the forum to keep it civilised ...but its not just the only duty of mods to keep forum civilised ...as members of IF ...u all too hv this responsibility to maintain a proper decorrum in the forum and not stoop to the levels of personal abuse because trust me as an outsider visiting this forum ,u all r making a mockery of your own selves and it does not look good ...
Whoever visits the forum dont know whether u r Ichha fanatic or Tappu fanatic ..all they see is XYZ member is always abusing and making personal attacks ...and yes if one is abusing fictional characters ,its not that offensive becuase they r "fictional" remember this ..but based on that if one abuses a real member making personal attacks ,its nothing less than a sin ...so all of u look into the mirror and see what u all r really doing in the name of defending the likes of Ichha and Tapasya ...
This goes for both fan grps ...no need to quote this note ...if the war still continues after this note ..then I will as usual do my duties as per IF rules ,that is raising warning levels and banning members if u all think that will make u all famous and that will help u win another round of one upmanship game with the other fan grp ...
Last but not the least if instigating comments r made in a post ,those can b ignored rather than passing personal attacks on that member and also members those who r making instigating comments for fun ,can avoid it as well and ignore the post if u dont like the character or dont agree with the topic maker's POV and if u all want to argue that its freedom of speech blabla ..then learn first how to debate in a civilised way and then do it ,...just quoting each other with sarcastic taunts and abuse does not make u look cool and smart always ..remember this
