The effect of Manyata's escape on Udhay

I was watching the Udhay/Manyata scenes and noticed something from yesterday's episode. When J and Manyata are exchanging their zingers, Udhay's face reflected the enjoyment he was getting from the cat fight.

But when Moniya said to J,"You can help yourself and me by getting me out of here," Udhay's face changed completely. He got serious and grabbed J and took her out of the room and with one last long look at Moniya left the room. Even afterwards when he and J were walking down the hall, Udhay was deep in thought and didn't even notice his arm was around J. And then he have J advice on how to manipulate Moniya/Manyata's presence to make herself look better and to get what she wants.

It looks like Udhay is already slightly intrigued/torn about Manyata. The look. on his face when he realized that Chikki was n the chair and not Manyata was hilarious. He was shocked! And then when Rajamata said it had to be someone in the house, Udhay's face was like,"J what'd you do?"

And then when he was taunting J with police and her "sadak chaap" friends, he was enjoying her discomfort. But what I'm really wondering about it the look on Udhay's face after Murari had broken Manyata's heart with the truth. What is the next part of his plan?

Uday is a smart guy; he knows that this is the best oppertunity to get Manyata to be agreeable- she would be willing to learn about her family and accept responsibility of being a princess- it is both an intellegent and competitive play. Uday plays to win and he's already plotting (sounds evil, but it is exactly how he's doing this) on how to get Manyata on board.

He's definatley more interested in Manyata because of her persona, and ofcourse the innocent and youthfull history he has with her: She's a challenge and an unsolved puzzel- he can't help but be curious (hopefully curiosity will make the prince fall in love hard 😉)
