Upen flew off to Dubai to perform at IIFA. "I'm very excited since this is my first live performance.

And since I only have one song to my credit, so far — the title song from 36 China Town, I shall, of course, be dancing to that tune.

But the entire choreography has been re-done by Shiamak Davar. I think he's handling the entire choreography of the event at Dubai.

So I think I'll be the first guy to dance to the same tune in two completely different choreogrpahic moulds on screen and on stage."

Amidst big stars

What makes Upen doubly delighted is the fact that he'll perform (on June 16) alongside much more established solo acts.

"I think Akshay Kumar, Rani Mukherjee, Salman Khan, Saif and Preity are performing. To be doing a solo act alongside these big stars does give me a high. This is my first awards event, and I'm looking forward to it."
