liked Ur post..good work...someone rightly said: Human Rights for everyone is the necessary foundation upon which all of us may build a world where everybody may live in peace and serenity and plenty. Although sadly it is true that Human Rights are still denied today...also like to share another quote : You can imprison a man, but not an idea. You can exile a man, but not an idea. You can kill a man, but not an idea."...but m not agree with the concept of Holocaust...m not against of Human rights but this is the thing which i cant believe that it actually happened..sorry if i hurt anyone by saying such thing..its completely my opinion...

Happy human Rights day!!!!!...

please don't say that ...about holocaust ..as much as Israel is wrong in what they r doing to Palestine and cashing in on Jews sufferings in world war 2 ..u cannot deny that historical fact..i feel when we deny this god doesn't like it if u see pictures, memoirs of people who suffered...just bec they belong to a community who is bullying and brutally killing Palestinians doesn't make their sufferings less significant...sorry to reply like this but it really hurts to see when people just assume it did not happen..
both holocaust and Nanjing massacre are as real as todays Palestinian sufferings...
also jot thanks for a very touching and moving post...
i love ur quote about i beleive in human rights without borders...
u can be a hindu, muslim, jew, christian, sikh any faith...u feel same pain...and everyone's blood is stil red...

I dont want to start a debate on it but if it was a fact, where those gas chambers in which they claim that they were brutually killed, people died in such a great number than there must be some evidence left behind, i didnt know how at that time they r capable of making so many n big gas chambers..i said its purely my opinion that i doesnot believe in it.its not only palestine who is suffering there r so many other countries which r suffering from the Supreme powers of today, we have an example of Afghanistan Iran n even in Pakistan too some extent there r drone attacks...m also a human being it hurts when we see other people dying either they belong to any cast community or even religion...it really hurts when we see innocent people dying

Beautiful post Jot! Just finished learning about World War I and II in Socials, and got to realize so much that I had not before. I learned about the holocaust a bit in English last year, but after learning about it in Socials, I was in tears, we went a lot in depth on this issue, and it was just terrible. I can't believe that Nazis killed Jews in huge gas chambers; I was totally shocked learning about this. The Nazi's herded the Jewish men, women, and children into large rooms that were supposed to look like shower rooms, but instead of water, the overhead fixtures had streams of poisonous gas. They shouldn't have been discriminated like this, it's just so dreadful.

It's really important to fight against inequality and promote human rights. Everyone deserves equal rights and people should not be separated solely on the basis of their color. This will help strengthen the nation by allowing everyone to have equal opportunity at life and when everyone is working together, the nation will be much stronger.

And a small poster thing I made on human rights<3 Hope you guys like it.

gr8 thread Jot...well done with this thread...its gr8 2 c u making out the basic points tht m sure doesnt cross our minds generally... in my house, we always tend 2 say tht we shud b grateful tht we hav food as der r many tht go 2 bed at night nt knwing whether they wil wake up 2mrw with food or nt... so its summut i always bare in mind... bt there r other things tht we tke 4 granted as well..its nt jus food its other things 2...like hw many times do we complain tht we dnt hav this n we want this n that...if onli we cud stop n think "do we REALLY need this?" "can we survive without it" if we dnt need it n can survive without it thn we shud try surviving without it, n use tht money 2 giv 2 the poor n needy becos they wil make mre use of tht money thn we wud.

general Human rights hav improved bt der r stil many suffering...we all are equal yt der r sum tht live luxurious lives while others r left suffering, we shud cum 2geva n help fund the needy!
