Hey, this is my first time writing a FF. Hope its okay.

"Today. Today is the big day," Smirks Shayam as he slips on his sherwani. He gets dressed to go to his wedding. His wedding with Khushi. His beloved Khushi.
"Thank God she didnt tell anyone." sighs of relieve.
"Flashback"
Khushi was threatened by Shayam. After he was introduced to Khushi by Anjali, Khushi ran out. Crying. Everyone was shocked. Arnav equally shocked by her actions and followed her.
Shayam started to sweat. He got so nervous that his surroundings went blurry. He had to think. He had to do something before things go out of hand. He needs to stay safe. Anjali asks Shayam with concern in her eyes. "Are you okay?" Shayam just gets up abruptly and leaves the house leaving everyone in confusion.
"Why me? Why does it happen to me? Out of all the people in this world!" Sobbed Khushi as she was on her way to her house in an auto.
"Madamji, where do you have to go? tell me a destination!" asks the driver. When Khushi sat in the auto, she just told him to drive.
"L-Laxmi Nagar..." she stuttred. Afraid. She doesnt know what to do. What to say. Her phone vibrates in her hand to find a text message from Shayam.
If you want your sister to be happy. & If you want your babuji to be alive. Come to the temple behind your house.
Babuji? Jiji? No! She told the driver to take her to the temple behind Laxmi Nagar.
"Dammit! Why the traffic now?!" Swore Anrav in anger. He lost sight of Khushi. He wanted to console her. Ask if everything was okay. Ask what he could do to make things right. Dammit!
Shayam took the auto to the temple where he was gonna set things straight with Khushi. He had to. He just couldnt let go of this beautiful butterfly. He reached the temple 10 minutes after Khushi. He saw her. In front of her Devi Mayya. Praying. Anger built up in Shayam.
"No no Khushiji. No matter what you do. How much you pray. You won't get away from me. "
Arnav's reached the area near the temple. Just a bit more and he would reach Khushi's house. Why today out of all the days? So much traffic! He thought to him self. He looked around pissed off at all the people going to the temple. Believing in Bhagwaan won't do them any good. As he was waiting...he saw Shayam. His jijaji.
"What the? What is he doing here?" He remembered how Khushi was nervous and scared when his Di introduced Shayam to her. How is his Jiju related to her? And, why is here instead of the pooja at their house?
Arnav turned right towards the Temple and got off once he parked the car and followed his Jiju up the temple.
"You understand what i am trying to say right? Khushiji." Explained shayam. "I mean, if you tell everyone, your jiji's wedding would break again." He emphasized on the last word. Reminding her of the event that happened at Payal's first wedding. It striked Khushi right in the heart.
"Jiji's wedding..would break because of me..again" sobbed Khushi. "What do you want from me?!" Yelled Khushi at Shayam. He was shocked to see Khushi yell at him. He was hurt. He never wanted her to yell at him.
"Don't shout Khushi ji." Warned Shayam. "Or else I will do something that would shatter your life completely." He took steps towards her while Khushi took steps backing away from him.
"W-What are you T-thinking?" Khushi stuttered. Shayam smirked and said, "You know how Sale saab and mamiji believe that you are a gold digger? haha, do you get where i am getting?" He winks at her shocking Khushi with his filthy plans.
"Unless you won;t say anything and go ahead and marry me...I won't do anything."
"I dont care! Do whatever you want. My life is more precious than living up to other peoples expectations." fired Khushi. It shocked Shayam to the core. He was burning with Rage.
He grabbed khushi's arms are told her with gritted teeth, "You babuji's condition is because of me you know?" That left Khushi speechless. She felt like she couldnt breathe. She wanted to run away. Screaming all these troubles out of her life.
"..and If you want to see you babuji alive then...you have to marry me in two days."
Shayam let go of her and walk away smirking. Yes. Finally. I got her.
Khushi fell on her knees in front of her Devi Mayya. She didnt know what to do anymore. THere was no other path layed out in front of her. She didnt know who else to go to. She had no choice. She loved her Babuji more than anyone in this world. She couldnt do this to babuji.
Khushi was blinded by what Shayam mentioned and couldnt think straight. She got up stumbling and walked home while Arnav slid down the pillar. His legs not supporting him anymore. Not believing what he just heard. Tears falling out. Heart racing. Anger building up. He didnt know what to do anymore...
"Flashback ends"
"Hey butterfly, did you get ready or not?" asked Buaji. Payal answered, "She is almost ready!"
There was a lot of work in the house. They were surpised to hear Shayam & Khushi deciding to get married in just two days. They had so many preparations to do. But Payal, Garima and Buaji seemed to handle everything.
Khushi had no emotions left in her. She didnt care about her life anymore. All she cared for was her babuji. Payal finished applying makeup on her and took a look at her admiringly. "Khushi, you look like a princess." Payal said with tears in her eyes. Khushi just smiled back saying nothing.
They all reached the temple for the wedding. Time tickiing away feeling like its a time bomb.
The groom was already there in his sherwani and his face covered with flowers. Khushi could see Shayams smirk under it. She felt disgusting. Tears rolled down her face.
Garima saw her and said, "Today is your big day, don't cry my angel!" She hugged her and said everything is be fine.
The bride got off and with everyone, she went towards the mandap. The rituals took place right away. The 7 rounds with the promises. Applying Sindoor to the bride's maang. Placing a beautiful mangalsutre around her neck. And Kanyadaan. Khushi was trembling. She looked up to see her babuji crying. He didnt want this to happen either. It broke her.
Then suddenly everyone heard a scream. "NOO!!!!" They looked around to find Shayam. Wearing torn clothes. Blood trickling down his mouth, his forehead and his nose.
Every one was silent. Not know or understanding what is happening. Not understanding Why Shayam JUST came. Not understanding who Khushi just married. Khushi was simply flabbergasted. Her knees gave up and she was falling but he held her.
He slid his turban off to expose his face.
It was Arnav. Looking deep in her shocked and emotionless eyes. Assuring her everything will be okay.
