Bani's mom surely went to college with jai because
even Aditiya recalls her being Jai's senior....
So Jai couldnt have made that part up!!!

I hope you remember the scene at the starting when Jai and adityta are in the car. He tells that the qualities of Bani were like that of her mother and Pia has got her mother's features. Am i right. I feel Bani will be the step daughter of Nishikant coz Roshni tells Jai agar Bani knows there will be lot of chaos.

It could be possible that Bani's real mom gave Bani up to Nikshikant Dixit and his 2nd wife (pia and rano's mom), when Bani was a baby.. and Bani's real mom moved to Mumbai. 7 years ago when Jai and Roshni were driving thru park road, they had an accident and crashed into her.. and she died, or is in a coma.
