"Idiot, calm down, okay? Don't get to overexcited."
"Bhai, you want me to calm down? I'm getting married today! And how many times do I have to tell you? It's Sid. S-I-D!" Sid exclaimed, looking bewilderedly at his older cousin brother, Abhi.
"Okay, fine, Sid. BUt seriously, why are you so...hectic?" Abhi asked.
"Because one of my closeste friends is still not here yet! Armaan is never going to change!" Sid exclaimed, pulling his hair.
"Yes, we all know that. BUt don't forget, Armaan has a kid now," said Abhi's beautiful wife, Nikita.
"Okay, you're right. I just have to take deep breathes, that's all," Sid said, starting tp pace back and forth. Abhi looked at his wife, sighing and shaking his head.
"Yo, dude, have you seen Simmy anywhere?" suddenly Rahul came into the groom's room, panting.
"No," Sid said, giving him a look. "Rahul, I have a wedding to worry about at the moment!"
Rahul glanced at Abhi and Nikita, who just shrugged. "Okay, chill. You're getting married, not going off to kill someone. YOu should be excited and happy!"
"I am! I'm just really nervous..." Sid said.
"Well, just, chill out," Rahul said, smirking.
"By the way, did you ask her yet?" Sid asked, stopping Rahul before he left the room.
"No! That's why I', looking for her!" Rahul said, and then he left.
As soon as Rahul left, Armaan came into the room, panting. "I'm really sorry! The nanny was late!"
"Armaan, I am going to kill you!" Sid said through gritted teeth, jumping at Armaan but Abhi got in the way, pushing Sid back. "Sid! Relax! I have never seen someone so nervous in my life, dude!"
Sid plopped down onto his bed. "You're right. Armaan, you and Riddhima are here now, so everything should be okay now. Where's Riddhima?"
"She went up to Shilpa's room."
******
"Riddhima!" Shilpa exclaimed, getting up from the dresser and giving her friend a hug.
"Hi, Shilpa! You look so beautiful!" Riddhima said, smiling down at the beautiful saree Shilpa was wearing.
"Thank you! But why were you so late? I was getting worried!" Shilpa asked.
"The nanny for our kid was late. We couldn't leave until the nanny go home, right?" Riddhima said.
As the two talked happily, Simran and Nisha walked in. "Oh, hey guys!" Shilpa said.
"Hey. Hi, Riddhima," Simran and NIsha said.
"Hi," Riddhima smiled.
"Oh, Simmy, Rahul's looking for you. I would go find him because he's getting at tensed and stuff," Shilpa said.
"Tense? Why?" Simran sighed and shook her head. "I'll go find him." And Simran left to find Rahul.
NIsha and Shilpa smiled at each other. "This is exciting," Nisha said.
"Yeah, my wedding and now this."
*******
"Rahul, what's worng? Shilpa said you were looking for me," Simran said, coming up behind Rahul.
"There you are! Come with me!" Rahul said, grabbing Simran's wrist and dragging her outside of the hall that was rented for the wedding.
"Wha--Rahul! The wedding is starting in ten minutes!"
"This will take only eight."
Rahul quickly bent down and took out a ring. Simran gasped. "Rahul..."
"I wanted this to be more romantic and all, but the wedding starts in ten minutes, so, Simran Khanna, will you marry me?"
Simrangasoed once again, but his time with a huge smile spreading across her face. "Yes! Yes, I will!"
Rahul smiled, putting the ring on Simran's finger. He got up and the brought her into a tight embrace. Then he let go of her. "All right, now we have to get to the wedding."
********
"They look so nice together. Who would've thought that Shilpa and Sid would one day be together, huh?" Riddhima whispered to her husband, throwing flowers as the Shilpa and Sid took their rounds.
"I know, they make a great couple," Armaan smiled.
A few feet away, Nisha whispered to Simran, "So now you're engaged! This is like double happiness in one day!"
Simran smiled at her. "Yeah, it is."
Rahul and Vineet were standing next to Nisha and Simran, but talking to each other. "So you finally popped the question," Vineet said, throwing flowers.
"Yeah, I did. But when are you?" Rahul asked, raising his eyebrows.
Vineet looked at Rahul. "Not for a while. We don't want to get married yet. We have some other things we'd like to do before that. Like I have to go to America for a little bit to stay at my uncle's for some unknown reason and Nisha said she wants to finish her internship. So, yeah."
Rahul shrugged. "Okay, whatever."
Shilpa and Sid finished their seventh round. "Everyone, I now present to you Mr. Mrs. Siddanth Modi!" The swami said. Everyone clapped.
Sid leaned into Shilpa and whispered, "I love you, Mrs. Modi."
Shilpa smiled, looking into his eyes. "I love you too, Mr. Modi."
