CHAPTER-10
Maan became very close to geet's family in just a couple of days ... everyone considered him as a part of their family...geet also enjouyed and she was not scared abt marriage as maan was with her ...she developed a sweet feeling for him which she never thought of giving any name or importance...
Maan was playing with his best frd tito geet's nephew ... tito was maan's companion and partner in crime ...mohinder called maan
" maan all the ladies of the house went for shopping and they forgot the cash here...so will u take it to the town? " mohinder asked
" sure uncle ...i ll take tito also with me " said maan
" tis devil ? " asked mohinder
" dadaji i want to go " said tito making baby face
mohinder agreed
maan and tito went to the shopping mall ... and they were shocked seeing geet surrounded by 10-15 ladies each were suggesting the saree of their choice to geet... geet's face was all so frustrated...maan and tito couldn't supress their laughter seeing geet's plight...
geet saw maan from the distance and made a cry face pointing through her eyes to the ladies torturing her ... maan began to laugh more ...tat irritated geet and she shot draggers at him...
"maan thank god u are here ... did u bring the cash beta ? " asked rano geet's mother
" yes mom " said maan...
maan used to call geet's mother as mom... maan never experienced mother's love and when he received love and care from rano he couldn't control but call her mom ...rano happily asked him to call her mom ... geet was very much surprised to see her mom caring so much for maan ... rano once even scolded geet taking maan's side...rano has always been a typical mother and hate even a sight of any guy near her gal but it was completely diff when it is maan ... maan and rano developed deep bond very soon...
maan was standing apart from the ladies and was playing games in his phone with tito... when meera came near him...
" hai " she said
" hey... didn't u buy any dress ? " maan asked
" no ...i ll always get everything only after geet... my family is partial u know ...after all its not my marriage " said meera to gain some sympathy from maan ...
maan was not affected by her i-so-sad type talks ... but he decided to help her with dress selection after all he should find some way to entertain himself or else he ll go mad sitting idly playing games...
geet was now and then steeling glances at maan ... he was playing with tito and maan was more like a kid when he plays with them...but geet frowned seeing meera talking to maan ...there was some uncomfortable feeling whenever she saw meera with maan... geet was more irritated when she saw maan walking with meera to salwar section...
Meera asked maan to help her with selection... maan picked all dresses thinking how it would suit geet ... he couldn't stop himself from imagining geet in all beautiful dresses ...meera was ovewhelmed seeing maan showing interest on her ...(poor girl)
later what felt like a decade the ladies finally finalized few sarees for geet and asked her to try... rano called maan and asked him which coclor suits geet by the time geet was trying one of her sarees...
maan looked at the sarees ... there was yellow , pink and green... he was not happy with the colors ...
" none of them mom " said maan
" why beta ? " asked rano ... they almost spend a whole day selecting sarees and now maan saying tat he is not happy...
" white ... white is color for geet ... white with short red border with simple works...she will look angelic in it ..." maan was abt to tell something but his words were struck in his throught when he saw his love walking like angel towards him wearing something exactly as how he fatasised...
everyone was dumbstruck ... geet was gorgeous and no one failed to notice tat the saree was similar to maan's likes ...
maan was trying not to blink his eye fearing he might loose the best sight of his life ...
Geet came and stood near rano... she looked at maan looking at her as if seeing her for first time...
" how is it ? "' asked geet
everyone said their view on saree ... but geet wasn't satisfied ,she again looked at maan who was still drooling over her... she asked him if he liked it with her eyes... he shook his head very lightly as if he could miss the sight if he was fast... geet blushed and looked
down...
All were returning back from whole day of shopping... geet,rano,meera and maan were in one car ... maan was driving meera was sitting beside him while geet and rano at back seat ...
Geet was not at all happy by the way meera was looking at maan... though maan didn't care and she know he would never care as she has seen him giving damn attitude to all the bibos around him in delhi but still geet was not liking it ...
Geet was looking at meera carefully noticing her actions ...meera was not even leaving a single chance to turn maan's attraction towards her... she would either knot her dupatta or make sound with he bangles and may othe girly stuffs... maan gave a damn to her ... but geet was having tough time controlling her...
Once they reached the house geet placed her shopping bags in her room and went to maan's room...
" what do u think of urself ? " geet asked entering his room... maan who was arranging his cloths dropped it hearing sudden voice...
" wat happened ? " he asked
" wat were u doing in the mall ? " asked geet
" i just came to give the cash " said maan ... his voice was like tat of a baby when compared to geet'a anger filled tone
" if u had come to give cash then u shd have gone after doing tat ... why did u saty? " she asked
her questions were not making any sense to maan ... he has seen geet angry but tis time it was diff... tis time she was really mad at him and the worst part is tat he did't do anything
" look why are u mad at me what did i do? " asked maan ... making her sit on the bed
" u ? of course you didn't do anything...u were just helping some ppl to select their dress " she said turning her face from him
now the picture was clear for him ... he didn't know if he shd be happy or sad so he decided to remain silent...
" see stay away from meera ... or else ... or else ... i don't know but u shd not talk with meera not alone meera u shd not talk with any other gal...got it " said geet pointing her finger towards him
maan nodded obidiently...geet ran from his room
" is she mad " there came two voices one was maan and other was tito who was hiding in maan's bed hearing to their talk
maan turned to tito..." do u think she is mad " asked maan
" yes mad in love " sid tito with wink
" no tito... she loves ajay ... may be she's angry coz i m wating time with meera not making initiative to stop marriage ..." said maan and left from there...
