Arnav...Apki Ma Khush Nahin Hain!

I thought today's episode (though it had a bit of comedy) was really poignant! Arnav sees his Mother's bangles and her note to his future wife! Seeing the bangles bring back his memories of his Mum and what it felt like to be "un-conditionally" loved! That was a great moment!

The note from his mum to his wife was perfect! Summarising her son in a few words and I loved how HE realized the significance of the bangles and also the note! THIS is his Mother's dearest wish that a woman who TRULY understands and loves her son wear those bangles! In a sense it's like she is giving this women HER position in her son's life!

I think Arnav's realized this, and probably wondered if he is able to give La the position of his Mother in his life? (Someone THAT significant). I think for the first time he REALIZED the full implications of agreeing to a marriage! The significance of what he has said yes to! This is NOT a joke! He is getting ready to give someone such a major place in his life, and he KNOWS he doesn't love this women!

Therefore... The statement to his sister "Mum would not know me today"... Then the question to Khushi... "Will my Mum be happy with who I am?"...The question almost had a "childlike" quality to it. He wants re-assurance. But I think he already knows the answer to his question.

I think Arnav now REALLY needs to start thinking about what he is doing! He cannot play with his Mother's emotions by giving those bangles to a women he does NOT love, and making a mockery of what his Mother wanted for him!

So yes Arnav... to answer your question... your Mum is NOT happy! She wants YOU to be happy! If you're not happy, then how can she be?

lets send this letter to Arnav, maybe it'll work a little!! i actually loved the scene where he broke his agreement with Khushi and asked HER! i mean he could have asked Anjali too but Khushi, she has a great value in his life! Arnav needs to think over. He's not doing injustice to himself but to Lavanya and Khushi too!

awww...very well said...arnav should think about his mom's wishes and listen to his heart which only takes khushi's name.

So THIS may be the catalyst he needs to start acknowleding his true feelings! He needs the "Fear" of loosing Khushi for good to wake him up!
