Godha is not my next film: Venkat Prabhu confirms

Recently a section of the media speculated that director Venkat Prabhu is planning a sequel to his super hit film Chennai 600028. Considered as one of the most delightful comedies in Kollywood, the film circles around a group of youngsters residing in Mandaveli, Chennai.

Reports said that the planned sequel is to be titled Godha, with the tag line 'Ippdi Oru Godha Theva Machaan'. But Venkat Prabhu has denied the reports of the sequel but has confirmed that he is working on a new script. "Godha is not my next!! It's just a fan made design!! I am currently working on few scripts!! Have to wait nd c which one kick starts 1st," he tweeted
