Mona talks about SS' burday and chat show

Main Bhi Oprah: Mona Singh She loves to talk and connect with people. Her close friends describe Mona Singh as 'chirpy, bubbly and full of life'. This could be one of the reasons that various channels are approaching her to host talk shows. Recently, the buzz was that Sahara One was in talks with Mona for a similar show. Conforming this, an official from the channel said, "Yes we are looking forward to work with Mona on this talk show. It's too early to give out details, but it would be fabulous to have her on board." Based on the lines of Oprah Winfrey's popular show, Mona would be seen talking about various social issues that affect the lives of people in the city. Being Mona Singh, who was in Pune catching up with friends, also affirmed that the channel had approached her with the concept. "Yes they did want to meet me, but I didn't have time since I have been travelling a lot." Does the idea of hosting a chat show excite her? "It definitely does, because it will give me the liberty of being Mona Singh and get out of the Jassi mould. I love interacting with people and connecting with them, so it would be a natural progression for me professionally." Mona also added that she has been watching a lot of Oprah these days. "I never followed the show closely before, but now I am hooked on to it. I think Oprah is an amazing person, and the way she involves everyone on the show in her discussions is fantastic." Better than dailies Mona says it's a better option at the moment than doing a daily show. "I don't want to get into a daily at the moment. I would love to try my hand at doing a talk show. Let's see what works out in the coming days." Driving lessons When asked what she's been up to in her free time she says, "I have been catching up with all my friends who I lost touch with in the last few years. In fact, when I went to Pune I figured most of them had left the city or got married and settled abroad." Apart from this, she's also taking lessons to drive her car. "I have to admit that I am not a great driver. I still have to figure out the reverse gear and other driving fundas," says the actress. Mona also recalls having a blast at close friend😈 Shilpa Saklani's birthday party on Sunday. "It was amazing, we were all up partying till four in the morning. The best part was I didn't have to report to the sets the next day, so I could just relax and let my hair down."

Thanks Buffie, I am pretty sure Mona will successfully host a talk show. Speaking about Appu, he will get something good pretty soon. People has seen his talent too. JJKN wasn't just popular because of Jassi, it was popular because of all the actors were good.

Actually, doing a chat show is more lucrative..as they get upto 1 lakh for an episode😲😲.....Rajeev Khandelval gets that much and Mona is popular as he is 😛 ....so even if she just hosts 4 episodes a month, she'll make 4 lakhs...and she made the same in jjkn where she used to work for 20 days....cool. no wonder she wants to do a chat show 😃 ...Bechara Apu...no news about him ...HMMMM, perhaps that goes to tell that Mona is more popular than Apu, but then ofcourse, if apu continues to act the way he did at SPA, who would have an impression

i think they will judge him on his on-screen performances...he is a great actor and will surely have got offers.😛

i think mona is going to be good in hosting shows .Infact i think she would be the next choice as the DYND host after rajeev.I also think she is waiting for t&d next show for which they are having discussions .So till then she can host shows following the footsteps of RK .
As for apu,I feel he is def going to sign up for ekta kapoor and join the balaji camp soon.

Do you really think they give importance to performance😉...If its so, then why are Iqbal Khan and Eijaz Khan more popular than Pawan Shankar and Varun Badola who are great actors..... these people ride on a wave of POPULARITY, and sadly, apu does not have as many fans(OR let me call them fanatics) as iqbal or eijaz have........and the show's TRP's depend on the show's popularity and viewership, which in turn depend on the actor's popularity....How do you the k shows garner whopping TRP's?????the basic premise is cliched🤢.....Ekta churns out hit after hit thanks to some great casting and the niche audience whom her shows are targeted at!!.....KSBKBT garners the maximum TRP's.....and who is really good there maybe apart from Ronit and hiten???.... we have reva, shilpa, tasneim, ritu, rakshandha(in a role which has no scope whatsoever 🤢 and thus RK is unable to open the petals of her histrionics),suvarna , komolika, anchit kaur etc who are plain low to middling actors😕...yet the show is the most highly rated....hiten and ronit are perhaps the only two in pivotal roles who can act😊...Pawan Shankar was beyond excellent in Siddhanth,ad he's now on Aisa des, which sadly isnt as popular as the k soaps........

so it really doesnt depend on the acting.....I think apu is a much better actor than eijaz, and i even think Apu looks better(ok, i know that I have said a multitude of times that apu is ewww, but eijaz in nimmo is ewwwwwwwwer🤢🤢..hair gel is kind of passe and that too coupled with a nose which flares up every 3rd second 🤢😆 and teeth which scare the wits out🤢)..but Eijaz has a bigger fan following and earns more than apu...reason---->BALAJI.....and ironically, if apu joins ekta, his show will be in the top of TRPs and even his fan following would follow😕....that's the main attraction in working with Balaji...the shows are regressive🤢, but yet people watch it because they invariably start liking the star cast( a la Ram Kapur of kasamn Se...from which angle is he sexy??😕)....and mostly, apu would go the balaji way😭 that is if ekta likes him🤢...she's a finicky woman and is forever stuck with her trio ......a ka..IQBAL,EIJAZ AND HITEN....these thee always keep juggling between two or more shows, so if ekta wants a new character, she would introduce any one of these three.....so where are the roles for newcommers, but for the insignificant sidekicks🤢
