I doubt it.

Usually, stars score magazine covers when they have films to promote, and to be honest, I don't for a moment think Elle or Cosmopolitan would actually pay a C+/B- lister like Freida.

High fashion magazines like Vogue and W almost certainly don't pay their models. Stars do it for free to promote their films.

I'd guess Freids would'v made some dough by now. She's been in many films this year - Planet of Apes, the Immortals et al, and her L'Oreal contract itself would be earning her millions. Though $1m for that house seems unconscionably steep. Maybe they actually bought it, or something.
