they just brought her in as a sort of "guest distraction" in medical college... maybe the storyline was that he would return to jayetsar and keep harassing anandi to become modern... but over time this seemed like a good viable storyline -- so they suddenly decided to get jagat and gauri married... which completely made her earlier sensible avatar look stupid and fake.

It looks like an unplanned switch of direction to the story.

Gauri-Jagya affair was bound to happen, the problem is that they didn't know whether to keep her positive or negative. They started off positive, butchering Jagya's character in the process. Then they realized that to have a JA reunion they have to butcher Gauri's character. So now they have transformed Gauri into a shrill harridan with short term memory loss. Jagya is getting redemption through his sudden irrational faith in Anandi. How this can happen after all his lying and cheating, all his disdain for the gaonwali is beyond me.🤢

I'm tired of this serial. They will never show Anandi as an independent woman, and in the end she will forgive the cheater and live with him happily ever after, possibly taking care of Gauri's child. Apparently the audience does like to watch such crap. We on this forum who are begging for Anandi's upliftment are a minority.
