Kesar replied "kyunki mein tumse" and he looked into her eyes...that was looking at him with her increased breath...for a moment there was a silence between them as they stood looking at each other and she realized with him she split between her conviction and her action

Kesar with his accelerating heartbeat said "becoz I...I"

And there was a knock at the door

And dushyant came in

Gulaal turned her face and kesar took a deep breath

Dushyant looked at kesar suprinsigly

He asked "Mr. Neeraj Mehta aap gulaal k cabin mein kya kar rahe hain"

Kesar changed his expression and said "mein gulaalji ko invite karne aaya tha humare annual function mein..agar yeh aati to humare employees ka honsla badh jaata"

Dushyant replied "kabhi hume bhi invite kar lijeye hum bhi kabhi aapka honsla badha dete"

Kesar replied "well meri female employess hain isilie gulaal ji ko invite kar raha hun aap kaise female employees ka morale boost kar sakte hai?"

And he took out the invitation card and gave to gulaal and said looking in her eyes "jarur aaiyega"

Amd he took a leave and left

Duhyant looked at him leaving and then turned around and asked gulaal "yeh kyu aaya tha"

Gulaal said nervously "sir woo invitation dene aaya tha"

Dushyant brushed it off and said "gulaal kya lagta hai yeh hamla kisne karwaaya hoga"

Gulaal said "sir durgesh ka kaam hai"

Dushyant raised his eyebrows and asked "tumhe kaise pata"

Gulaal "sir obvious si baat hai kaali ko maara hai aur inti dino se uske cases haath mein le rahi hun wahi hoga pehle bhi uske bhai ne hamla kiya tha"

Dushyant said "hmm gulaal don't worry mein tumhari security tight karwa deta hun...yeh durgesh to mere haath se nahi bachega..par jab tak pakkada nahi jaata tum apna khayal rakhna ok"

And he left gulaal thought about kesar and said to herself "kya kar rahi thi mein aur kyu?kyu janana chahiti thi mein woo kya sochata hai... uski problem kya hai?... nahi kuch nahi jana mujhe" she was frightful

With many unsolved questions she came back home and saw revji was talking to someone in the phone in concerned voice "kya pooja ne itna bada kadam utha liya aur bhabhi woo kaise hai

He continued "bhaisahab meine apse kaha tha na apne bacho ko itni chut nahi deni chahiye k haath se nikal jaaye...dekhiye kya anjaam hua... fakr hai mujhe apni parvasrish par meine gulaal ko aise sanskar dale hain ki woo kabhi mera sar sharm se nahi jhuka sakti"

Gulaal was hearing this conversation with surprise

Revji said "bhaisahab aap bhabhi ka khayal rakhiyega aur jo hua use bhulne k koshish kijeye"

He ended the call

Gulaal looked at him and asked "kya hua papa kuch probem hai kya"

Revji replied in the concerned voice "haan beta tumhe pata hai tumhare cousin pooja usne apne umar se twice umar k aadmi se shaadi kar li socho sirf 24 saal ki hai aur ek 48 saal k aadmi jiske do bade bache hai shaadi kar li...Use itna samjhaya par dekho kehti woo pyaar mein hai...yeh aajkal k bache bhi naa pyaar aur azaadi k naam par maa baap ka sar sharm se jhuka dete hai...pata hai bhabhi ko minor heart attack aaya hai par pooja ko kisi k parvah nahi hai...bechari bhabhi apne vishwaas ka yeh fal dekh kar tut gayi hai"

Gulaal hung her head down

Revji looked at her and said "gulaal aao mere pass beitho"

Gulaal was in tears to hear it she said in shaky voice "don't worry papa apki gulaal kabhi apko niraash (disappoint) nahi karegi?."great burden was imposed on her and the tears of guilt fell down from her cheeks

Gulaal took his leave and went in her room she closed her door and sank in bed with fear...gulaal put her hand on her head in frustration and remembered what happened between her and kesar

Kesar's words echoed in her mind "farq padta hai gulaal gulaal tumhari baatein se tumahari zindagi se?.tumhari har baat se farq padta hai

next day dushyant tightened the security around gulaal she was provided with four guards protecting her 24*7...the guards outside her residence were alarmed and aksed for protocol...her telephone was tapped

Durgesh's gangmember informed durgesh about the tight security arrangements

Durgesh said angrily "koi baat nahi hum thodhi der sabr kar lenge?waise bhi kabtak bachati hai gulaal

Member said "haan bhai waise bhi dushyant humare peeche pada hai hume kuch din k liye shaant ho jaana chahiye mauka paakar hum gulaal ka khel khatam kar denge"

And 20 days passed in this process

here kesar was getting restless with each passing day...he waited for gulaal in his annual function but gulaal didn't turned up as now she wanted to deviate her mind and her thoughts from kesar though she couldn't but at this moment it was best for her...kesar tried hard to call her but she didn't picked his phone she changed her number and the new number wasn't circulated kesar tried to meet her but coz of tight security system he couldn't go near to gulaal and he became increasingly frustrated

20^th day

kesar got her new number somehow and he dialled it gulaal saw a strange number flashed in her cell she knew it was kesar's...she wanted to pick the cell as she didn't heard his voice since 20 day gulaal took the cell hold it for minutes and closed her eyes and ended the call

Kesar dialled it again and she cut it and afterwards she switched it off...kesar was hurt he felt sharp ache in his heart and he threw the cell hard on the floor in desperation and then put his hand on the forehead...he took a unstudy breath and said "kyu nahi baat kar rahi...kya ho raha hai mujhe kyu uske baat naa karne se itna tadap raha hun"

He was angry and agitated he moved in the room tro and fro in desperation

Kunal saw him in this state and said "kya kar raha hai kesar"

Kesar avoided him and was dewelling in his thought

Kunal stopped him and said "bas kar kesar bahoot manmaani kar li...kya haal banaa rakha hai apna dekh khud ko...tujhe apna koi hosh hi nahi hai"

Kesar looked at him in anger and said "kunal mujhe akela chod de"

Kunal said "nahi kesar khud ko sambhal warna bahoot boora ho sakta hai mein janta hun tu yeh sab kyu ho raha hai par ab bas bahoot ho gaya"

Kesar brushed off his hand and said "kunal bas mujhe kuch nahi sunana aur tu jaa yanha se aur mujhe akele rehne de"

Kunal said in frustration "thek hai kesar agar khud marna chahta hai to mein kab tak rookunga...jo karna hai kar"

And he left kesar slammed his fist on the wall

hours went by and it was getting tough really tough...he was like prisoner in his own thought...for him life without gulaal was like a long lonely road where he was walking alone there was nothing to do except to walk with same monotony...hours passed by and for him it seems like years..he felt like going crazy...a kind of frustration and anger brewing inside him not seeing her..Not talking to her was enough to drive him insane with longing...his world was incomplete without her and she was his light...he stood restlessly...his mind and his thought were out of senses...kesar thought for a moment and decided something
