I was sure that this must have been discussed inthis forum as I agree withthe opening post . Its ok to help the less privileged but then create your own format for that kind of show. This show is a GK test for all irrespective of the socio-economic circumstances. To create a questionnare based on one's intellectual capabilities should not be on the format of KBC. If you want to do the charity, I think its a good idea to start such a show and do the charity but leave KBC format as in my mind while watching it I am always comparing it with the US show Who wants to be a millionare.

What r u people saying. U people r jealous for them. U people think who is poor does not have general knowledge. That is the problem of u all. When some one want to prove some thing and when they get a chance u start saying some thing negative.U people thing that u very intelligent.they r many people who have try kbc more than billion people and all billion in that some only get selected that is big thing.how could u people say like that. Kohee bi insan chota na hota. this show is very successful. if a channel is try to bring some new who got talent who has good gk but who background is not good u have problem Cant beilive for this show their is critism.
