I use to like dev character but not anymore. She is weaker than I thought. She would rather prefer to be a "juti" of Brahma than becoming free. Well, few yrs back it was understandable but now her kids have grown up. Except aditya everyone will support her. Aditya will also support her when he finds out truth from everyone. I don't like where the story is going. Are the CVs just dragging the story so that they can have more episodes?
I felt vidya n Gaurav story took a wrong turn too when viday decided to come back from hospital.

CVs can make good story n still show women struggle, trying to adjust after seperation etc...I don't understand why they choose the current story line. Are we always going to see women as the one tolerating injustice?
I hope they change the story line. I would not want to watch this serial if they continue with current storyline.

I agree. I had said before the Brahma/Dev/Uttara/Priya just goes around in circles. Just because a few new things happen, it doesn't really matter if we're back at the same damn place as before.

Yea Dev is really a disgusting woman ..as her husband is a police officer ,for job securites he cannot marry like this..and Deb has two big sons and one daughter ,DIL ..why she is scared like a illiterate woman..really it is very shameful to see this type of charactor which is distract the woman from their right and turn away from the original focus of womanhood..thanks

What you have posted is not wrong. But if you see from her perspective, she doesn't have a confident personality. So far she has been tolerating abuse from her husband mainly to maintain a beautiful family picture in the community. She has been praised for that now and then by everyone. In her mind, Brahma depends on her presence in the house and that's why he did not leave her ( I think early on in her marriage she had left Brahma and then came back only when Brahma threatened her ) . So all of a sudden this weak character is threatened again with a DIVORCE. She was not expecting that at this age from Brahma. She probably would not even had fought in the first place if it was not her younger sister whom Brahma is using this time. So, from one side she is being put down by her sister and the other blow comes from her husband. In the real life this would be the most appropriate reaction of a homey woman. But the CVs could redeem this by strengthening her character and showing her to be more brave as Brhama's words sink in her with time. This angle could give the story a better perspective and a hope for many such women out there.
For Vidya also I feel it is the best they can show for now. They are showing the humanly concern and sacrifice from Daksh. Wheras Vidya is in love with Daksh and is not able to let go that love for him. yes, she could move on with some other guy or leave the marriage, which she already tried but again in the real life it will be very hard for a village belle to break this marriage knot no matter if the hubby is a gay. The good thing is that CVs are not showing Daksh to be a mean abusive person who would not care for her married partner even though he has no romantic feelings for her.

hi lotus,

Agree with you about their characters. They will probably behave as CVs are showing in their situations. However, that is what I do not like. I do not like how CVs or media are handling this story line. Instead of showing how they would behave, CVs should show how they should behave. Media should try to portray strong characters which can inspire other women and show them different way of life/vision.

I hope they redeem it and make the women bolder. That is my whole point. I have great expectation from this serial as it is handling bold issues. It is my favorite serial right now and I want it to remain like that.
