Update for Tues, Nov 1, 2011:

Anand and Vidya - he wants to know why she has been meeting Kavitha, knowing she is her mother, despite his having told her not to meet her. Kavitha and Konica - Konica goes on and on in her irritating nasal voice about that appan and why didn't Kavitha tell her earlier that Anand was her husband, and why didn't Vidya tell her, and raves about her mother's maaji purushan - irritating voice, irritating dialog. One thing is for sure, Anand raised his daughter better than Kavitha did - Kavitha has taught her daughter to hate her dad, while Vidya does not hate her mother. Konica tells Kavitha to promise that she won't meet Vidya again, and the weakling Kavitha promises - I am irritated with her too.

PK and Ezhil in his office. Naren comes there, wants to know why PK called him, PK wants to know if he ate, Naren says No, the cafeteria was out of food, so PK calls someone while Ezhil goes and brings her lunch dabba (periya sacrificing woman!) and gives it to Naren. She says she made it at home - liar! PK insists that he should eat it, Naren asks what about Ezhil, what will she eat, and PK says that Naren saapitaa, Ezhil saapitta madhiri, she will be happy and not miss eating - avvalavu looove. I know one thing for sure - if Naren and Ezhil get married, I am out of this show. KB sir, I do not have the time to get unhappy watching yet another miserable serial.

Anand and Kasi - Konica comes there and starts off her tirade again. He calls her Priya, she says that was the name he gave her, she discarded it a long time back, she is Konica. She regrets the time she was friendly with him, addresses him as Nee, uses some foul language, then gets angry with Vidya for acting, says they are all good at acting. Vidya comes down, tells her to stop talking to her father like that. Konica says he was a useless appan, abandoned his wife and child, raises his nasal voice, screams like a banshee. She says he used to go to the racecourse, spent the money which was to have been used for school fees on gambling and lost it all. That was why her mother left him. Vidya obviously doesn't know this. This raving and ranting by Konica goes on for some time, and finally she tells Vidya never to come to her house again or to call her or her mother, and leaves. Thank God! I was so tired of her nasal voice and shrieking. Once again, i will say that Anand has brought up his daughter better than Kavitha did with Konica.

Naren in the hospital - Rathy comes there, and congratulates him on his upcoming marriage to Ezhil and asks him why he didn't tell them himself.

Update for Tues, Nov 8, 2011:

What an episode! Naren and Rathy exchange garlands in PK's presence (romba thevai thaan!) and he raises his hands as if to bless them, then says that this is the first round, and they have many more rounds to go. They come out and both of them burst out laughing. Naren does an imitation of Sivaji, I think, singing some song, they laugh some more, and then get down to business - informing their parents. Rathy calls her mother, tells her briefly that they are married, and are coming there, and hangs up. Now it is Naren's turn - he says it is a problem if his dad picks up, and a praLayam if his mom picks up - dad picks up, he tells Rathy that it is only a problem, but dad hears his voice and puts down the receiver and calls for wifey - and now Naren is concerned, it is going to be a praLayam! He tells mom that he is married to Rathy - shock no. 1 - and tells them to come to Rathy's house to get the full story - shock no. 2! Dad and mom are furious, but have no choice but to go there.

Anand is thinking about something, Vidya comes there and tells him to rethink his attitude about her visiting her mother. He gets angry, she tells him a story about a ship which saw another light in the distance, the captain of the first ship told the other ship to move and he says this is the right thing to do. Then she says that a guy from the second light told the first ship to move, and Anand continues to support the captain of the first ship, till she tells him that the first ship is a battleship and the second light belongs to a lighthouse! Anyway, he says that there can be no reconciliation for him and Kavitha, Vidya says that she is going there for a week, he tells her to "get lost", and she leaves. Kasi sings "Paal ooti vaLartha kiLi pazham koduthu vaLartha kiLi ... " as she leaves!

Shyamala, Vicky, Periappa, Sandhya, Devi all are frantically trying to reach Akash, finally Vicky finds him and tells him to come home. Everybody is in a state of "handum not running, legum not running" (kaiyum odalai, kaalum odalai). They are waiting outside with the arathi thattu, Vicky's son says that a car is coming, the car comes, they are ready with the arathi, and - Naren's parents get down. Sandhya welcomes them with a "Vaanga, sammandhi ..." and Naren's mom gets furious. Periappa manages to calm them down, while Shyamala is busy offering them coffee or juice! Now the car comes, Naren and Rathy get down, Shyamala and Devi are about to do arathi, but Periappa stops them, says "we need to see the garland exchange at least", so they exchange garlands. Naren's mom is invited to join in the arathi, Shyamala and Devi sing "Rathy kalyaaNa vaibogame ..." and Naren's mom chimes in with "Narenu kalyaaNam vaibogamae ...! Now they go in to face the music!

It is not music, it is a whole symphony orchestra. Sandhya says why couldn't they have told them they wanted to get married, she would have arranged everything, Shyamala gets in a dig at Sandhya - she had some complaints about Shyamala's wedding, this would have given a chance to Shyamala to see what it was that Sandhya was complaining about! Vicky says he had planned to do the catering from his new hotel, Rathy says that she would have remained a spinster forever and would have become an old woman if she had been waiting for his hotel business to start, Devi says that they are upset because they didn't even know about it, Periappa says that it affects the hospital's image that the MD and a doctor in that hospital got married secretly. Naren's father says that even ordinary kanji drinking people in their village have bigger weddings, and Naren's mother wants to know who put him up to this rushed wedding, was it that maharasi's job (Rathy)? Finally, Naren and Rathy ask if they are all finished, and can they now get a chance to talk?

Reporter Sathya's erstwhile querry answeres.Shanthi Nilayam MD's Shanthi Muhurtham ready atlast. Couple sent in to the decorated room. Naren's parents ready to take leave. Sandhya asks them to stay back overnight & leave after breakfast next day . Irritant Naren's parents with the dhideer kalyanam & ulta sulta formalities vent out their anger & frustration Mom says they don't prefer veetoda sambandhi status& leave with the instruction to send the couple to their house at the earliest muhurtha naaL.

Shyamala & Devi ' Malarum ninaivugal .Imagination running wild. trying to visualise the conversation behind the closed room [ Hmm romba avasiyam]. Both having a hearty good laugh at their stupid imaginations. Inside the room , contrary to shyamala- Devi imagination the matured doctor couple are engaged in shop talk ' professional talk ' discuss about a health journal article. Emergency knocks at the door, a heart patient's condition is critical at the hospital &of the two duty doctors one on leave & the other attending to another emergency. The couple decide Service first , rest can wait. Naren immediately leaves for the hospital.

Anand ,in search of inspiration, reading S.Job's biography. Akash comes to meet him. Topic of their conversation as expected rathi ' Naren sudden wedding. Akash wants to do something Since rathi is against grand reception ,Akash decided on gifting the staff sweets & a wrist watch. Anand suggests homemade sweets & recommend's Kasi's name for the same. The deal is finalized & Akash leaves.

Scene shifts to Kavitha's house. Mom & 2 daughters sitting for dinner.Kavitha is worried that Anand might call & shout at her. Minolta , oh sorry sorry Konica strict order to mom not to attend to her maji purushan's phone call. Phone rings , Konica orders cut it & kavitha disconnects it [ Don't understand why Kavitha is bending so much to Konica's wishes. Real spoilt brat]. Kavitha feels that Anand's presence would have made it a complete family.Konica negates , says 3 is a family. Vidhya corrects ' 3 may be a family but 4 is perfect.. Then on Vidhya's insistence , imagines the presence of Anand & talks to her invisible daddy in her irritating high decibel nasal tone spiced with nakkal comments.

Anand's house. Anand Titanic moozgi pona madhiri sitting & brooding . Kasi comes with his usual situ. Song [ Rs.500 increment Govindha]. Pep up boss' spirits. Speaks high of Vidhya. Anand agrees , says he is not worried about Vidhya but Kavitha , feels Kavitha will change her mind which he would never allow to happen.

Rathi & Naren arrive at the hospital to a grand welcome by the staff. Both are happy , but a short lived one , thwarted by PK's gesture.PK offers the a bouquet which both try to evade. He goes on with his yap 'talks about a party arranged by him to celebrate their wedding & insists on their presence. Rathi curtly says , No party , not interested . PK insists ,Naren gives in to the pressure & accepts the invitation. Livid Rathy walks away. Wounded tiger sports a wicked smile.

PK has flipped his lid! Read on ...

Anand comes to Kavitha's house, says he wants to see Vidya because he misses her and wants to take her back home. He refuses to go inside when kavitha says they must have gone out somewhere. He reminds her how he warned her not to see Vidya or else he would be forced to tell her the story of their past life. Kavitha says she did not ask Vidya to come, in fact, Vidya has been talking about him the entire time and misses him. He says please do not take her away from me and kill me. Kavitha says she never wanted to separate them. He says just as you told Priya lies about me, you told her also lies. You told Konica that i was a gambler, when have I ever gone to the races, why did you lie about me? Why didn't you tell them the truth that you had an affair with your music teacher? This is overheard by Konica and Vidya, who are sitting on the grass in the garden. Kavitha says that was a mistake in the heat of the emotion, she asked for forgiveness that day itself, she has never justified her action, you sent me away. Anand says he is not a mahatma, just an ordinary man, he will not tell her daughter about her because he is a gentleman. Send Vidya home when she returns, and he leaves. The girls are stunned to hear all this.

The party is in swing. Akash comes there, tells PK that MB had chest pains, so Naren is attending to him. PK asks about Rathy, Akash says she had to go to SN to attend to some burn case. PK says he arranged the party for Rathy and Naren. Akash says Rathy has sent him a gift and hands over a package. PK calls Rathy but there is no answer. He says that by not attending, they have spread coal on his face (kari poositaanga!).

PK gets tons of calls from various people on different phones, asking why Rathy and Naren haven't come. He goes to his room, opens the gift package, to find a CD. He puts the CD in the laptop. Rathy is in it, and she says that Akash would have given him the reason by now, but that was a lame excuse. The real reason is that he gave her and Naren so much torture, so if he is throwing a party, this must be a trap, so that is why they didn't come. She says that everyone would have asked why they didn't come, this is the gift that she is giving in return for his torture. She wishes him a sleepless night and a nightmare.

Kavitha's house - Konica is outside, refusing to come inside. Vidya goes and tries to persuade her, says she is hurting their mother. Vidya says they have no right to judge their mother, she has never done anything to them. Konica says she is not angry about what she did, she is angry that her mother lied to her and made her get angry with her dad by lying about him. She sends Vidya back inside. Kavitha tries to call her from inside, but she refuses to talk.

Shades of Psycho!

He walks into a room full of furniture thrown in a messy way, goes and picks out something from a box. It is a skull, and he drapes his dupatta around it to make it look like a woman, goes and sits on a rocking chair, and talks to it, calling it his "Mummy" - I was disgusted. He apologizes to it, says, My mummy, sorry! You are my only companion, that is why I dug you up and have taken care of you all these years. He wants her to talk. He says all he ever wanted was to marry Rathy, what was so wrong about wanting to marry the girl he loved? why don't I get what I want? did I ask for a parijaata flower? why didn't I get her? why, why, why? He keeps on asking, why, why, why, mum, please speak, mum. I have decided to get rid of Naren and Rathy, don't try to stop me. He compares himself to Ravanan, says that there will definitely be a yuddha kaandam, war, mom. He tells the skull, mom, sattham pOtte, sukku nooraa I will break you. Then he says, don't worry, mom, I love you, if I break you, who will I talk to? and keeps rocking in the chair.

SN director Kumar Raja's house. From their cook's polambals we gather that the Alzeimer patient Mr. Raja has 2 maniyana sons – one settled in the US & the other in Singapore.Instead of spending his last days with his sons the man is rotting alone . The Singapore son- Sudhakar Raja is in town , he is turning the whole house upside down apparently searching for something. What else – K Raja's will which he had written 3 years back during his sane days. Appava pottu ulukki edukking asking him to remember where he kept the will documents.[ Ada padicha muttale why don't you ask the lawyer . Large property surely must have been registered , can get a copy from there , why ransack the house & trouble the poor invalid man.

Visali walking back from a medical shop – mootu valikku thailam buying..Meets Akash on the way – Hello sir , ennai theiyaradha asks Visali. Yes ofcourse , Kasi's sister Visali . See I even remember your boasts Akash of his memory power. Namma Visali yaaru – idatha kudutha madatha pidungara magarasi , viduvala intha thanga opportunityai. Supera oru pavam looking face vachuindu polambing about invalid hubby's plight-seen each & every doctor in Mayavaram , tried all possible medication , NO prayojanam, now doctors are talking about scans & Xrays, where will we go for the money? Neengathan periya manasu paNNi should help us.Akash immediately offers to help, asks her to meet him at SN along with her husband , will do all the possible test free of cost. Happy Visali thanks him , takes leave , not before making that the news will not reach her brother's ears .

Back to Kumara Raja. Vicky sees him pulling a vegetable cart on the road. Takes him home. The cook is happy to see him back, says has been missing for 2 days. Cook informs Vicky about his Singapore son's visit , to get hold of K Raja's will. Sr. Raja unable to remember where he has kept it , so son took the next available flight in despair. The cook parts with extra information – K Raja has willed something for Vicky also [ useful for his film project ].

Kavitha waiting for Konica. Konica comes in , angrily throws the bag on the cot , throws an angry look at mother & moves away. Kavitha demands , why is she late , where had she been , why not a phone call to inform about her delay. Konica silent. Kavitha shouts why not answering , vayila enna kozukkataya.Konica opens her mouth– just not able to face you. Why asks , Kavitha , what happened , enna thappu pannine nee. Konica retorts – thappu naan paanale but you did it , totally absolutely inexcusable thappu. Vidhya & myself heard everything you & daddy spoke on the other day. Thunder lightning on Kavitha's face. Konica continues , first it was a shock- adhirchi , then aathiram , now it looks asingam , aruvaruppa irukku – your extra marital relationship. You gave me everything , don't deny it , but you did not practise what you preached – chastity. Apart from all these your biggest mistake is painting dark image of daddy. Goes & sit near Kavitha . I have kotti theerthufied everything in my mind , feeling light now , asks Kavitha to talk now. No response from Kavitha . Konica thinks Kavitha is guilty , hence quiet .Kavitha is sitting still with eyes closed. Konica goes near her & shakes her to talk. Kavitha's head & hand drops . Konica slowly realizes the seriousness of the situation . Konica's powerful high decibel ' Tell me MOM' turns to panic tone .
