The doctor checked her pulse and did some other examinations. She said to others, "Nothing major. She only has low bp and she fainted due to some sort of shock. I have given her an injection. As she wakes up, please make sure she eats something and tell her to rest."

Maan went out with doctor. "Doctor, she'll be fine?"

"That is what I am worried about as well. Her bp was really low and she needs to take care of her diet. It seems as if she eating regularly. And she got a shock that made her faint. Will you please call me as she wakes up?"

He thanked her for being honest and promised himself that he would take complete care of her until she is perfectly fine.

It was night and Maan told the girls to go to their dorm and rest and that he'll take care of her. For few days, principal had given permission for Raj to stay in another room since Geet was on Maan's bed and they thought it would be better if she stayed where her care could be taken care of.

She slowly opened her eyes. She looked around and it took her few minutes to adjust her eyes. She looked around but couldn't figure out where she was. She sat up and the light turned on and Maan held a plate full of food in front of her. She looked at him with questioning eyes. "It's food. Eat it. Your bp level is very low."

She took the plate in her hands but didn't eat anything. He sat down next to her on the bed and asked, "Why haven't you been taking care of yourself?"

He looked down and didn't answer. He took the plate and held a spoon of soup out to her. She looked at him and had the spoon of soup. She took that plate back and quietly started eating while Maan got her a glass of water. She tried to remember how she fainted. As she remembered, the spoon dropped from her hand, into the bowl. She handled herself and looked here and there to find her mobile.

Maan: "What are you looking for?"

"My phone. Where is it?"

He took it out from his back pocket and handed it to her. "You dropped it when you fainted and it kept on receiving messages so I turned it off due to doctor's request.

She quickly turned it on to find that there was no battery and had over 20 messages. She couldn't check them. She put it down. "Wanted to call someone?"

"Umm... Yes. Can I use yours? Mine's out of battery."

"Yes sure." He handed her his. After she took it, she realized she didn't know the number as she always used it when it was saved in her phone.

"What happened?"

"I don't remember the number..." then she remembered something. "Do you have your dad's number saved in here?"

"Yes."

She quickly opened his contacts and called Ishwar.

Ishwar: "Hey son!"

"Uncle, it's me. Geet."

"Geet? What happened to your mobile?"

"It's out of battery. Hold on. One minute." She looked at Maan and said, "Can I talk to him in private?"

He nodded looking at her serious face and went out to Raj's temporary room. "Uncle, I... I... him... I saw him."

"Him? Who? Slow down and tell me calmly."

She narrated the whole story to him about how they all went out and how she crashed into him. "Don't worry dear. You're safe. There is no way he'll be able to harm you. But how? He didn't see you. Did he?"

"I am not sure as I fainted. I do not remember anything after that. The next thing I know is that I wake up in Maan's room."

"You just take care of yourself and do not go out until I call you again. I will find out soon what is going on. Promise me you will stay at University and stay in. I know you love to go out and face things. But believe me. He will do anything. All your work will be put on hold for next few days."

"I promise uncle. And I understand you are worried. But trust me, it'll be better if I..."

"NO! Do as I say or else I will make sure Maan doesn't let you go anywhere and puts you on house arrest."

"Hmm..."

"I'll call you on your mobile soon. Make sure to keep it on and charge it."

She ended the call and thought... Maan came back in a while to see that she finished her soup and was nowhere to be seen. She was in the restroom. She came out and said, "I hope you didn't mind me using it."

"No. Not at all. You will be using it for few days now."

"What?"

"Meaning you will be staying here until you are perfectly fine. And that will be when doc says you are."

"In here? With you?"

"I am not gona eat you alright?"

"I didn't mean that. But my clothes...?"

"Sam and Emily are going to your room tomorrow and will get it for you. Just tell then what else you'll need."

"Hmm. She sat on the bed while Maan went in the bathroom and came out changed in his night clothes. He was wearing a vest and shorts. He opened his laptop and started surfing while she sat by the window and enjoyed the night wind blowing through her face. She remembered she had to charge her phone.

"Umm. Is there a shop nearby? I need to charge my phone."

"There is. But it's probably closed by now. Can't you wait till morning?"

"Not really. It's urgent."

"You can use my charger. It'll probably work on yours too."

He handed it her and she tried it. It worked. She was glad. "Thanks."

"Sure thing."

"You don't mind if I put an alarm. Do you?"

"You won't need it. I usually wake up around 5. If you want I can wake you up."

"Ok. Around 5:30?"

"K. You should probably get some sleep. You still look weak."

"Yea. I know. I will in a while." She opened her purse which had her i-pod in there. She started listening to it while sitting by the window. Maan started chatting with his friend online. He knew her for quite a long time now but they hadn't met personally. Slowly, Geet's eyes closed and before she knew it, she was sleeping while sitting. When Maan ended the chat, he looked at the window to see Geet sleeping there.

He went close to her and tapped her but she didn't wake up. Not wanting to disturb her, he lifted her in his arms and laid her down on the bed and covered her with the blanket. As he got up, Geet moved to the side and held Maan's hand as if holding a teddy bear.

He smiled and slowly released his hand from her soft grip and turning the lights off, he himself went to sleep. Next morning, just as the sun rose he woke up. Then he woke her up and went to freshen up. Geet decided to wait as she didn't any other clothes to change into. She used Maan's laptop to finish some of her work that could be done online and time seemed to pass.

In the next few days, Maan and Geet were becoming good friends. He would always remind her to eat, make her different food that he knew, spent time together, and got to know each other's likes and dislikes. She was getting close to the rest as well. She saw the best friends in Sam and Emily that she had always wished she had when she was small. Being around them made her feel happy and she was fine in no time.

Sam and Emily both were to leave for the individual houses as their studies were complete and their families wanted them to come back. But they promised each other to stay in touch and it was an emotional scene at the airport where they bid them good bye. In the next two days, Raj had to leave to Germany as well, where he would meet his dad and then both will leave together for India. Raj and Maan would be in touch as they knew where they lived and have been best buddies since high school.

Geet had places to go to as well, but due to the warning from Ishwar, she couldn't leave. She wasn't allowed to go outside Oxford University area at all. Ishwar had made sure she couldn't book flight tickets as he had called the authorities and informed them strictly.

Maan and Geet spent time together going to places. Geet would sometimes talk about her baby sister but never about anyone else. Naina, Maan's mother, kept on telling him how much she wants him to come back. So he finally decided to go visit them and then plan for the future. He told her and even though she was sad, she knew it was bound to happen. Ishwar informed her that the day she fainted because she saw him was just a co incidence. He doesn't know anything about her where-abouts and that she is safe. As he told her that, she begged him if she could get back to her work now. He said she could but only after she came to India with Maan and stay with them for couple of days.

She promised him that and both of them booked their flights together. They were to leave for India in the next 4 days.
