Part 3
Recap: Arnav and Khushi have gotten married. Shyam and Arnav had a bit of an argument over Khushi, mind you it was all verbal ( ya sorry bout tht, I know it is a let down haha). Khushi has thought about why she married Arnav.
Khushi watched his every move under coveted eyes. He walked to their cupboard and opened it to grab his night clothes, Khushi presumed. Now that his back was faced towards her, Khushi bluntly stared at him in awe. He looks so good in that sherwaani! It fit him perfectly, shaping his biceps and triceps complimentarily. A sensible voice in her mind warned her to look away but she brushed the thought aside immediately thinking, He is my husband now! I have the right to look at him. That is when he turned around to meet her penetrating gaze. She quickly looked away scolding herself for getting caught only to look back at him. She regretted it instantly when she saw the look that was clearly visible in his eyes, the look that made her turn weak inside.
Arnav reached into his closet to grab some clothes. He really hated wearing these sherwaani things since honestly he was not comfortable in them. He had not worn one since the day his sister's marriage had been broken. He felt very odd when he wore one nowadays. As if the day he wore a sherwaani would be a bad day for him. I guess my theory is right in a way since look today I had to wear one and I got married to the girl that is ruining my sister's life. How dare she? I will ruin her. There is no way she can just get away with this. I am her husband now. So her whole life I will torture her, Arnav thought to himself as he picked up some random clothes. He knew in his heart that he could never actually hurt this girl who was now his wife, but his mind would not just let the matter of Shyam slip away so easily.
Arnav felt someone watching him, realizing that it must be her since she was the only one else in the room. Smirking to himself, he turned to face her. His smile deepened when he saw how she looked away, reacting as if she had just been robbing a house. He watched her as she tried to avoid his gaze which refused to leave her. He had been attracted to this girl, she had changed him highly, and then the Shyam fiasco had happened. Arnav did not care if she knew why he had married her or even is she knew about Shyam being Arnav's jijaji. He just knew that she was a problem, a pawn that had to be removed. So he had trumped her as one would when playing chess. Now that she was under his power, she could not harm his sister anymore and he would never let her harm him. He would never allow her to become his actual wife, to have the right that a female would over their husband. No he would just be there for her when the society would ask her. He would give her the money she desired, for which she had thought of marrying his jijaji, but he would make her life hell. She would not be happy, with having thoughts of ruining his sister's life, how could she be happy? He would not allow it, and he given himself the power to correct her misdeeds since even though his sister thought that there was god who would punish the people who do bad deeds, he knew there was no god. So Arnav would punish his wife by himself, since he was no less then god.
He started to walk closer to the bed, the clothes in his hand forgotten about. Shyam's words were still ringing in his head.
Shyam looked at Arnav with hatred and reminded him, "She would never let you come near her since she hates you just as much as you did a few days ago."
Arnav walked towards his, no their bed, determinedly. He threw the clothes in his hand on the couch, surprising himself at his eagerness to do this. Yes, he thought, I will make her mine tonight. Nobody is going to stop me, but I won't leave her. No that would make me like Shyam… I married her, so I will protect her from that Shyam creep but she will never have any power over me. I will maintain a distance from her. She will not rule my heart or anything in my life. It's not like I want to make her mine, it's just so Shyam jijaji knows, that Khushi is mine, and she did not refuse me, he convinced himself while sitting down on the bed, making sure he was as close to her as possible.
She looked stunning and he knew he could not deny her of that. Her smooth milky skin was even more pronounced by the red lengha she was wearing. He looked up her arms to her neck which was covered heavily by jewelry and the manglesutra that he had just put on her a few hours ago. It felt good to her like this, all his to have, only his. His eyes scanned down as he noticed that the blouse of her lengha was a tad low then the kurtas she wore, allowing a small peek at the wonders underneath. Her chest heaved as she breathed up and down, out of nervousness? he wondered. His eyes trailed further down as he looked at her hands which where clutching on to the lengha that she was wearing. He wondered how it would feel to have those hands clutching on to him instead, holding on to him for support while he pleasured her.
Not being able to hold it in any longer, he slowly reached up with both of his hands and removed the ghungaat and stared face which he could now see. She was looking down at her hands trying to avoid eye contact. He brought his hands down after placing the ghungaat behind her head and reached for her hands, pulling them into his. He watched her face as he slowly started to remove the bangles off of her arms, sliding them slowly and softly off her hands. His hands brushed against her skin in the process making him move even closer to her and tighten his grip on her hands. His eyes never left her face as she shuddered at his every touch. She had now stopped staring at her hands and was looking at him, blushing when she met his intense gaze.
Khushi had watched as he had made his way to her with a slight grin and determined look on his face. She had felt even more nervous so she had grabbed her lengha as hard as she could. Her breath hitched when he sat right next to her and removed her ghungaat. She slowly looked up into his eyes when she felt his hands on her hands, gently removing her bangles. His intense gaze made her look away almost instantly, but not before she had seen the protection in his eyes which she drained on for support.
After removing all of the bangles that she was wearing, he let his hands move up her arm, feeling the soft skin beneath him as he moved up. Her body reacted to his touch as if it was already familiar with it. It felt good to control her like this he thought to himself. His hands were now where he wanted them to be, right on her shoulders. Resting his hands on her collar bones, he relished the heat that ran through his body at having her so close to him. Moving his hands behind her neck, he reached for the necklaces on her neck, removing them one after another and placing them with the bangles on the side table. He was now barely one centimeter away from her as his breath blew on her shoulder. All of the necklaces were now off of her except one, the manglesutra. He moved his hands to make quick work of the last jewelry she wore around her neck when he felt a hand on his arms which were encasing her from both sides.
Khushi shivered as he removed her necklaces, her skin tingling at the places he touched. She had never known that her body had it in it. The way it reacted to his touch, his feel, his need, it surprised her. She was appalled at the way he worked her. He was so close to her that his hot breath was blowing on her shoulder making her even more in need. She dug her head on his shoulders since both of his arms were around her, hoping that he would not see her hot face. He did not need to know that affect he was having on her. It was enough that he even had such a big impact on her, especially when she hated him right…? Did she hate him…? She didn't get any more time to question herself, since right then she felt the last of her heavy jewelry being removed. Now there was only one thing she wore which was the manglesutra he had put on her a few hours ago. The necklace that showed the world that she was someone else's. The thing that made sure that she was always wearing him always. The one thing that would remind her and the society that she was married. That she had a support in her life, a man who would stand by her, her husband's mark on her. The manglesutra was his claim on her and… she did not want it to be removed off of her. She wanted it on, always. Removing the manglesutra would be like removing a part of her now, since he was a part of her.
Before he could unclasp the manglesutra off of her, she lifted her hands and placed it on his arms squeezing them lightly so he would stop and look at her. As planned his hands stopped moving and he brought his head up to meet her gaze. Khushi looked into his questioning eyes, as he tried to ask her why she had stopped him.
Arnav felt a chill go down his back when she stopped him from what he was doing. All types of questions started to rise in his brains, all wondering about what he was doing. The words of his jijaji started to haunt him once again and Arnav backed away from Khushi to look at her eyes. What he saw their reassured him a bit but he did not just want to assume things. He wanted to hear why she had stopped him, hoping it was not since she did not want to do this with him. He hoped that his jijaji's words would not come true, that Khushi would not let him near her.
Khushi watched him intently as he sat there still staring at her but lost in thought. She held on to his shoulders slightly stronger so he would pay attention to her, hoping she would not have to explain why she had stopped him. He looked back at her and waited for her to respond to him. Khushi pleaded with her eyes for him to understand since she felt uncomfortable saying what she wanted, but Arnav would not budge. He refused to do anything or move until she told him what she wanted.
After a couple of minutes of just sitting there looking at each other, Arnav started to move his arms off of her. Then it hit her. He must have thought that she was not okay with this. No wonder he is moving away. Hai Devi Maiyya! Now I have to explain to him or else he will just leave. Hai yeh laad governor bhi nah.
Unclasping her hands from his shoulder, she quickly brought her arms around his neck, stopping him from leaving her. He looked back at her in surprise, his eyes trying to figure out what she wanted.
Arnav had sat there, waiting for her to respond to him. He saw in her eyes that she wanted to be with him, but then why had she stopped him? He knew it was so use just sitting there in that awkward position, so he started to move away from her, his mind spinning from the hurtful words his jijaji had said to him. He was right. She did not let me near her. Arnav snapped out of his thoughts when he felt her arms creeping up his collar bones to link behind his neck. He looked back at her wondering what she wanted. Why are you so confusing Khushi? Just tell me what you want damnit!
As if she had read his thoughts, she whispered, "Manglesutra nahi."
"Kya?! What the?" Arnav questioned her in the moment of the whole thing. What does the manglesutra have to do with this?! What is she even talking about?! Damnit.
Khushi looked at him being difficult and groaned internally. She wondered if should have just let him remove the manglesutra but her conscience rebutted the thought as soon as it entered her mind, making her realize that she had made the right choice. If she had to, she would explain this to him. Why is he so thickheaded??
"Hum ne kaha Manglesuta nahi. Matlab ki woh hum…" Khushi started strongly but losing courage as she got closer to explaining her thinking, turning red.
Arnav watched her turning clumsy and blushing, realizing that she was not saying no to him. She was just telling him to not remove the necklace he had placed on her himself just a few hours ago. Watching her turning pink and looking away, he thought it would be good to tease her a bit more.
Moving in closer, he put his arms around her waist and pulled her back to him. She looked up at him with her big brown eyes opened wide in surprise. He smiled inside, as she looked down again, finding a great interest in her lengha. Bringing his face closer to her, he nudged her nose with his trying to get her attention.
When she looked up he prodded, "What were you saying? Bolo. Waise toh hamesha bol thi rahe thi ho. Ab bolo na, kya kahe rahi thi tum?"
"Woh… hum… matlab…" Khushi stumbled, getting even more nervous as his heated gaze scanned her face.
"Kya? Batho," he commanded her moving in closer to her neck and placing a soft but demanding kiss on her soft skin.
Khushi threw her head back as he assaulted her unexpectedly. She could feel herself melting in his arms, hoping that he would not let her go.
"Kyun chup ho? Bolo nah. Mujhe batho. Nahi kyun kaha?" Arnav questioned her loving the way he made his wife tremble.
