PART 8

Maan looks shocked after seeing those medications with Geet. He just said, "We will be back."

Before he goes out, Geet stops him and gives him the paper which she sketched, and which showed a number now. Maan looked at it surprised and says nothing.

Geet looked at him and said, "May I have my medication back?"

Maan gave it to her and then he went out along with Kartar.

After coming outside, Kartar looked at Maan and said, "We have people here who she can talk to."

Maan nods his head and went with Kartar.

Inside the room, Geet decides to look at the CCTV footages herself. She first looks at all the places currently. She then looks at the footage of the morning. Finally when she looks at the footage when her car was seen entering, she remembers something.

"Dev's laptop bag. It is in the car's backseat. How can I forget?"

She then goes out towards the parking area.

Maan and Kartar see her going there, so they start to follow her.

As soon she reaches her car, she hear Maan calling out to her.

"Geet, Geet, what are you doing here?"

"Maan I remembered that Dev kept his laptop bag in the back seat of the car," she opened the lock and was looking at the back seat.

There was no bag in the car.

Kartar looks at her and says, "There is no bag now in the car."

Maan also goes towards the car and starts to look in the front area. He starts to search and then says, "It is not under the seat."

Maan comes out of car, but Geet is still looking at all the places.

Maan shouts, "GEET."

She comes out and says, "Somebody must have gotten in car." She looks worried and is not able to understand what to do next.

Security had enough of her as she was making a spectacle and garnering attention of others.

Kartar says, "Come upstairs now."

Maan understands and gestures Geet to come along.

They take Geet to a room where Naintara, Maan and Kartar are there.

Naintara is the first one to speak. She says, "We are in transition. I can't do this all day."

Maan understands and says, "Geet I checked 7 floors, checked the orthopaedic wings, for the matter some other wings also, talked to nurses, medical emergency people….."

Geet looks at him, interrupts and says, "And…."

Maan took a breath and says, "And no one reported him seeing."

Kartar then says, "There are 23 exists in this hospital. 6 of them are managed by my men. We would know if anyone went out and there was no one of the description you gave."

"Geet, the paper you gave me, which had the UID number, I checked it and it belongs to a 60 year old woman in Andhra Pradesh. And also the number which you were saying belong to his mother, that number does not exist."

Naintara then says, "We want you to meet someone."

She then instructs someone to enter.

The person enters and says, "Hello Geet. I am Dr. Ganguly. Would you like to come in for a moment?"

The doctor then points towards a door in the room in which they all were.

The security man, Kartar then helps her and says, "Right this way."

Geet is all numb, does not know what to do or to say. She just says, "Okay," and starts walking towards the room.
