TOI: Actor cries foul

Dhoondh Legi Manzil Humein came to an abrupt halt early this month and an already upset cast and crew of the show is dealing with another problem.

Actor Yashwant Singh Thakur is claiming that the show's producer Monish Sekri hasn't cleared his dues, August onwards. An agitated Singh decided to stage a protest outside the producer's office. Informs a source, "He wasn't called to shoot for the show starting August but shot for promos and did some dubbing. He missed out on a couple of good offers as he was contractually bound by the makers." Yashwant confirms, "Yes, I haven't been paid.

Had they informed me about it, I could have taken up other offers. I am hoping that my dues get cleared soon." Monish said, "Yashwant and his co-ordinator had some issue. I think it's being sorted out. I think Yashwant had not given the coordinator his fee."
