as far as I am concerned---even though I respect the process of warnings and reports as an essential part of maintaining the forum decorum...I am not emotionally sensitive about it. I don't take warnings and reporting personally to my heart, so I don't make convoluted attempts to save myself from any such thing.

I enjoy posting, only and only for honest, unapologetic expression of my real thoughts and sometimes to have fun. I am not here to win the next Lok Sabha election...I personally don't know anyone here, I simply and honestly put forth my thoughts on the subjects being discussed in a thread. If people talk about the serial, I talk about the serial; if it is about someone's personal subject, I express my real views on his or her personal subject. If someone--with the name say 'Jalebi baai' discusses on any thread about how nice is her name , I will unapologetically and straightforwardly tell her that its weird and sounds like a "mithaai ki dukaaan". If someone tells me he is the Finance Minister of India, and he doesn't sound like that to me...I will bluntly tell him so!

If moderators want me to shut up so that people don't feel 'bad', --I will shut up without taking it personally, because I understand its their job to maintain peace. However, does it make me regretful about telling the truth on anything whats being discussed..hell no😳!!

About the positive things you're saying about Tinoo--thts very nice...I don't know because I dont read many threads but I believe it. however my comments and fun is restricted to the topics, responses and posts that I read in this specific thread. Out of what I read, I'll appreciate a good point, argue with a point I don't agree with...and if I feel something sounds like bluffing, I will frankly speak it out...or just have harmless, time-pass fun😊--its for the posters to understand the comments are not on them, but on what they post.

Getting back to the topic...I would say, it is a very interesting and debatable topic...and the advice offered initially was also thoughtful but in my opinion, it had limited scope and relevance to specific situations only. Through our previous discussions we were trying to talk about to what extent the advice of staying away from men is practical and to what extent it is not. The topic has been diverted from its original course...but it was actually a good discussion to begin with.

Maybe we can talk about it again-same things in a fresher perspective, to get to another healthier round of discussion.

1) What is the extent of responsibility, we as women feel, we have on ourselves to ensure maximum possible safety from sexual abuse? How can we protect ourselves to our maximum abilities??

What are the measures, we take in our respective situations to keep ourselves safe? (I understand it might be different for women in different situations -women in an unsafe area might exercise different safety measures compared to a woman living in a relatively safer geographical area.

Some women avoid going out at night, or they go out in a group -- what all do you do?? Have you ever felt a threat to your safety?? How did you react to that situation?? How have you handled it??)

2) What do men feel about ensuring women safety. How it should be taken care of, according to you, as men? What do you do, to ensure safety of the women around you??

About Asha--I feel given her background, believing the baba so naively was not unnatural to her. She had nothing else to believe in, in her life.

...I am so sorry if I was one of your offenders who didn't do their job to help you relax after your busy schedule--next time we will try to keep your schedules and preferences in mind about what you want to read...and will post that only, doesn't matter what we'd like to write-- what matters is what you'd like to read--isn;t it?

I guess the posts go off the topic sometimes...because people can't separate themselves, their experiences from their opinions...anyone who wants to talk about the topic only...simply has to restart the conversation from where it went off...and i believe it should not be much more difficult than writing another personal opinion post about how frustrated you are with x,y,z writing this, writing that...😊...

just a personal opinion of mine, as a response to your personal opinion on others personal opinions...thats how personal opinions set off. 😳...even if you have something against the idea of giving personal opinions, you may still give another opinion-- neither am I anyone to give you a permission to write your personal opinion on my post, nor would I mind if you write it...😊
