On SBS today, they had a segment where they spoke about how title tracks for serials are conceived.. so much thought, work & effort goes into making title tracks.. it takes about a month sometimes.. Based on the protagonists' character, everything is decided to the minutest detail.. for eg, like KK will wear 'red'..etc..etc..
They then showed the title track of KK (before leap).. Seema & Sudhir Sharma (show packagers for KK) spoke about how they were given a brief about KK being the bahu of the house, how everyone loves her.. and most importantly, they were told that 'something happens with her sindoor'.. So, Seema & Sudhir conceptualised the title track of KK as her with every member of the family, and then KK with Su.. and how the thaali slips from KK's hand and Su holds the sindoor ka dibba.. Only later they came to know that Jatin dies & Su marries KK..
They also showed the post-leap title track.. Sudhir spoke of how sometimes the producers insist on using the sets for the title track, but Sudhir said its their conscious effort to use outdoor locations, coz the viewers see the sets everyday.. for a change in the title track they wanna showcase some new locations for the viewers to get a fresh feel..
I was a good segment.. and knowing the kind of effort that goes into making a title video.. its no wonder KK's title track is the BEST!!
