Part 3

He was shocked as he looked inside! Why wouldn't he be? There was no Shera inside.. She wasn't sleeping in the bed anymore. Somehow Veer felt happy not finding Shera asleep,he didn't know the reason.. He had got so used to her bubbly self today that he just wanted her to be around him always and assuming her to be sleeping silently didn't seem like a pleasant thing.. You know little minds are always crazy..

Now on not seeing shera in her bed Veer was sure that jungli billi was off for some mischief.. He got a smirk on his face thinking what new mischief will his jungli billi will now be off to.. Time will tell he thought for now he was happy seeing that jungli billi wasn't asleep.. Night wasn't yet over and he had few more hour's before he had to get back home so he just wanted to enjoy every moment of this night.. The night can't be named as an adventerous night even that word will be less to describe the eventful night. The little Veer was enjoying the night.. It just gave him a new energy infact a new feeling of excitement alltogether a new liveliness to his life..

Now he wanted to find out where little shera had gone to. He slowly looked around the room to make sure if Shera was hiding anywhere. There was no sight of her nearby.. He gave a sigh..He suddenly took a black shawl that was lying there and wrap it around himself.. With that he can move around without getting noticed at first glance.. He smiled thinking his brain was something.. He slowly got out from Shera's hut.. He looked around for any movement...On seeing everything to be safe he decided to move ahead.. With slow steps he started walking.. He now crossed 2,3 huts after Shera's hut.. He suddenly saw a figure moving ahead of him.. He was excited so moved faster to the figure.. Suddenly the figure as if sensing something was behind it turned back.. Veer stood still..As he was wrapped in the black shawl it wasn't easy for the figure to spot Veer... Again the figure started moving ahead this time Veer was taking cautious slow steps,he didn't want to make noise.. Well,when you are excited you don't just feel any fear.. The thought fear just manages to go out from your mind.. In other words you can say excitement takes over your fear and one almost forgets there was something called fear.. Now Veer was fully excited as to what the black figure moving ahead of him was upto this dark night.. He had to find out..

Suddenly the figure stopped.. He was almost right behind her.. But hid himself behind a small bush.. He could now hear the voices of the boys. The boys were somewhere nearby.. Veer now understood the voice was coming from the hut nearby.. The figure moved upto the window of the hut.. Then in a sudden movement the figure took out a torch lit it around its face and showed its tongue out.. " Bhaaaggoo!!!! RAAAKKSHHAASS..." We coulld hear the hut going wild with the boys running hear and there..Veer was shocked for words..he was scared ...he didn't know what to think and what to do next,he stood rooted to his spot... It was then Veer heard the giggle ..And then he knew.. Hmm...Jungli billi is really something..

He slowly moved towards Shera...Then whispered to her hear softy "jungli billi".. Shera was shocked for a second...then she just started laughing.. Her laugher was so nice to hear.. Suddenly the boys stopped their swift steps as thought they heard something familiar.. Veer didn't want to end the excitement..So he also started laughing kind of wierdly.. It was two voices laughing madly.. He snatched the torch from shera and started making patterns of light switching it on and off and on and off.. Boys were now really scared... They ran out from the house!! They ran for their life...

They both fell to the ground...rolled and laughed for some time.. Then Shera said in between her laugh "Wohh na..pehli baar kisi ne muje pakda"

Veer was confused.."Matlab"

"Arrey buddhuu...matlab mai yeh har rozz karti hoo...par aaj tak kisine muje nahi dekha.." Shera said proudly..

"Isse pehle tumhaara prince na aaya na...isiliye" Veer told her as if stating a fact..Veer got up from the ground and gave Shera his hand.. shera took his hand and Veer helped her get up..Both of them walked hand in hand..and then and then there was a big man in front of them..

"Raaammmuu Kaakaaa" shera just ran and hugged him.. Veer stood there amazed..

Then Shera in excitement introduced Veer to Ramu kaka.."Meet my new friend...Veer!!"

Ramu kaka acted surprised and then patted Veer's shoulder.. Veer developed an instant liking for this elderly man.. Ramu kaka then made Geet get to her hut and asked her to sleep as it was already very late.. Geet was in no mood to sleep but she didn't want Veer to assume her to be a disobedient child in front of her newly found friend..Not that she ever cared what other's thought about her.. She just lived the life like she wanted.. Always cheerful happy go luck..

Ramu kaka kissed Shera goodnight.. Shera also wished Veer goodnight and Ramu kaka told her that he will take Veer back to his home.. Shera smiled at Veer widely..Veer just watched her and gave her a wink.. Ramu kaka took Veer along with him.. Shera soon drifted off to sleep...

Ramu kaka asked Veer as to where he was from.. Veer told him that his house was just the other side of the woods..he showed him the big light that was shining brightly a little away from the basti.. Both of them walked keeping the direction of the light..Soon Ramu kaka and Veer reached the big wall and Veer hugged Ramu kaka and told him "thanks for walking back Ramu kaka" Ramu kaka patted the boy with love and told him "Isn't it dangerous to walk around at night like this?"

Veer is Veer he said "Just wanted to know the real beauty of the world outside".. Ramu kaka smiled... This boy was really something..

Veer soon tip topped into the Mansion through the secret way he came out by.. Very soon he was in his sleeping bed sound asleep.. After all he had a very adventerous day meeting the most curious and bubbly girl ever..He murmered "Jungli Billi" and fell asleep..

Next morning

Veer woke up hearing his Mom's voice "MAANN!!!!!! Get up baby...Get up"

Maan was like "MOM!! I'm tired..lil more sleep for your prince"

"no no!! you got class today..and don't be late...get up get up.." After innumerable tireless attemps from Nisha Khurana Maan woke up.. He had his eyes little swollen.. His mom did notice that "What happened son?..Why are your eyes swollen?.."

Maan didn't get what his mom meant...so he said rubbing his eyes "what mommy??..."

Nisha just let it go... She knew her son was one mischief guy...He might have sat up late dreaming or doing something!!.. "come on...I'll get you ready"

She then guided him to the bathroom... Maan brushed his teeth..did the morning necessities freshed up and was soon having his breakfast.. Meanwhile he did also find time to visit his younger sibling..the cute little Vicky!! Vicky was asleep..Maan told curiously "When will vicky be big? So that he could play big boy boy games with me?"

Nisha chuckled hearing the query from her son.. It was daadima who replied to Maan's question.. "Son..Very Very soon!!"

Maan was on cloud 9 hearing that.. He blurted out "Wowow! Then i can show him the beautiful world behind"..

Daadima was confused so was Nisha.. "world behind??" Maan said... "Yess... daadima...you don't know??"

It was then the clock struck 8:00 and it was time for Maan to leave for school.. His school was around 20 minutes ride.. Soon the driver came into view..he took Maan's bag places it in the Benz Car.. Maan waved bye to Daadima and his mom who were by now stading at the door!! Maan was off to school..

School was school!! Maan was a bright student.. He was naughty and mischievous but always managed to get good grades for exams!! He was all teacher' favourite.. Though they would always scold him whenever he did any mischief..

Maan was in time for class... He seated himself in his place.. Soon the teacher came to class she took the attendance and started with the first period..During Recess Maan was walking around the school with his little gang of boys which consisted of Rahul,Deepu and Kevin..They all had their heads high and they really looked as though they were the senior's in the school..well,they were the furious four of their batch,that was a fact! They definately got into atleast one trouble everyday but somehow managed to escape from getting into the bad books of teachers.. they were a bunch of boys to definately look out for..

Maan was having a party in his home.. They party was for some client of his dad.. And Maan's dad told maan if he wants he can invite his friends to come over too.. So Maan got excited and he invited Rahul,Deepu and Kevin.. And three of them decided to come over for the pary at Maan's.. and they will be staying for the night.. As the party was on friday none of the parents had a problem with the boys staying over because there won't be any class the next day!..

It was finally friday evening..the day of the party..Maan was excited thinking about the fact that his friends will be coming over to stay with him.. And he wanted to go to the world on the other side of the woods where his jungli billi lived.. He hadn't taken a risk after the first meeting with Shera again because he didn't want his parents to suspect anything..Today he was actually on cloud 9.. His friends where coming over..There will be party till late night..And many guests will be hanging around till early morning talking and chit chatting.. No one will notice his absence if he makes his way over to Woods today.. He wanted to show this new adventure to Rahul,Kevin and Deepu.. They were the bestest friends and shared everything with each other.. Maan wanted them to be part of this new adventure too.. Maan hadn't yet told them about what happened that night.. He wanted to give them a surprise and he was sure they will love it.. After all they were also adventure boys like him!

The boys stood and showed their faces here and there in the party.. There were some old ladies who were so interested in pulling the kid's cheeks! Maan was the one at the receiving end always and he definately got irritated.. And seeing his irritationg and knowing the fact that Maan cannot tolerate irritation for long time his mom came over and told Maan "Beta...you go play behind..just be safe around..if you stay here im not sure these ladies will leave you.." Maan's mom gave chuckle..Maan gave her a wink and signalled his friends to follow him..

Soon they were inside Maan's bedroom.. time was 8 pm! Maan was thinking fast now! He can go early to basti today and he was very very excited about the night..It has been whole 3 days since he has seen his jungli billi.. He had to admit he was really restless to see his jungli billi again.. Was he missing her?.. yes! With no doubt!

Maan told his friends "Listen..we are going for an adventure..just change your clothes to one of my dresses..so that even if we mess it up no one will know"

The boys chose one of Maan's dresses for themselves and changed their dress..

Soon they were out from the house-big mansion to the world across the woods! The boys were super excited on being in the woods!

Deepu "I am in love with these woods..How come you never told us about these woods Maan"

Maan "It was just woods till few days back...and i thought it was normal to walk in woods..only recently i came across something more interesting"

The boys were curious now.. "What's it Maan??"

Maan "Wait boys..wait for some more time..you'll know everything"

They walked..they ran..soon they were near the river.. Maan saw someone near the river and ran to the person who was sitting on a rock facing the water..

"Kaka..Ramu kaka"

Ramu kaka turned and looked at Maan..There was some tension on air and Maan could sense it..So he asked Ramu kaka

"Kaka...sab teek hai?"

"Haan..Veer puthar..sab teek hai..bas kuch"

"Bolo na kaka...kya hua hai??" Veer wanted to know what was bothering kaka..

"Woh..Shera.." And Ramu kaka's voice became shaky... Veer could sense his eyes were full now!
