Part 2
They stood there hugging each other feeling a kind of serene warmth amidst the cool windy night. They didnot know what they felt but they just knew it felt so right being in the embrace.
There was one person who was watching all this from a safe distance. Ramu kaka. He was there to keep an eye on Shera,to make sure that she was safe. Ramu kaka allowed Shera to be a free bird. Didn't keep her under restrictions,gave her the freedom that any 5 year old child requires. The people whom Shera interacted where the basti people and she even went to the small school near by the basti. As a result there was this typical basti style that had developed in Shera's talking and style. As Ramu kaka saw the new boy talking with Shera he still maintainted his distance, but made sure his eyes were on both of them. On one side he was curious as to what the two little kids will do next. One look at the conduct and style of the new boy,Ramu kaka knew the boy had to be from a wealthy family. No boy from the basti could make Shera understand anything or control her. She was wild in her own way.
Ramu kaka saw a new ray of hope in the form of this boy. Shera should have been interacting with boys like Veer,but due to the bitter happenings that occured in her family here she is away from all of them. He watched them being in a hug. There seemed that even the waters paused falling for a second as if absorbing in the purity of the hug between the boy and girl.
Shera broke from the hug asked him again "Kaisa laga humaara ghar?"
She hasn't even showed him her house. He thought in mind this girl is fully pagli. "Dikaaya nahi phir kaise batao?"
"Pehle bina hamaare permission ke hamaare ghar mai entry maari..uski baad pooch rahe hai dikaya nahi?" Shera said making a grumpy face and folding her hands. Belive me she was looking damn cute.
Veer couldn't control any more he understood the girl was fully pagli. He started off laughing. Launging like a maniac. Just then it clicked him anyway his night was going to be eventless so why don't he keep himself busy with this new found partner. Good idea boy! Chal Go ahead.
Shera looked at him in amusement. Infact she seemed to be staring at him with open mouth and without blinking her eyes.
Veer asked "Ab kya hua?"
Shera didn't say a word. So he waved in front of her eyes.
"Dekne do... tang mat kar abi" the little girl replied.
Veer was shocked. He looked behind him to see if there was anyone behind him.. No one then what is this little girl staring at?
"Kya dekh rahe ho itni interest se" You can't say he was jealous. But yes he was curious very very curious.
"teri hassi mai kuch kala tha...woh dekh rai thi.." she replied
"kala aur meri hassi? Phir tera tho ekdam white white hai kya?" he asked her
"mai thodi na apni hassi dek sakti hoo...too padaai karke phir apun ko baa dena.." she told him unbothered.
"Mai kyo? Mere paas faaltoo cheej keliye time nahi hai" he said in attitude looking the other side.
"darta hai to woh bata..baat ko ghumao mat " she said standing in front of him again.
He was secretly enjoying fighting with his princess. But no his ego was not going to give up yet. He will fight till it goes till infinity!
"Mai kisi se nahi darta.." he said crossing his arms
"Tu darta hai"
"Nahiii"
"Haaaiii"
"Nahiii"
"Haaan"
they started shouting at top of their voices.
Some boys came rushing to the site. Shera quickly hid behind a Rock. Veer was shocked in not finding Shera in front of him shouting back. He saw her hiding behind the Rock. Now he was more curious to see what was she upto and why was she hiding.
He saw that their intruders were mere boys. He felt proud of himself and felt himself powerful as though he could rule them and they will obey him with no objection. He felt surprised the Shera who was till now speaking big big words have suddenly gone to hiding. There's something mysterious,he wanted to find out that.
The boys started speaking themselves. "Maine uski aawaz suni hai"
"haan haan apun ne bi suna"
"shera yehi kahi hai..."
"yeh ladki bi na..ek minute mai phir gaayab ho jaate hai"
One of the boy saw Veer and came upto him. "Aapne Shera ko deka?"
Veer thought this was time to pay back. He said "Kaun.. sunai nahi diya"
The boys shouted aloud thinking he was deaf "SHERAA"
Veer said "Mai deaf nahi hoo..chillao mat"
Veer continued "SHERA??"
they said "Haaan SHERA dekha usse?"
Veer thought for a moment then looked at Shera who was hiding behind that rock in casual manner. Then told them "Mai kissi Shera ko nahi jaanta..."
they were confused now. They said among themselves. "Shera kaha hogi ab?"
"Kahi chupkar dek rahi hogi...jungli billi" as soon as he said jungli billi he felt as though a weight landed upon him.. And next second he was on ground with Shera on top of him with a murderous glare ready to attack. Shera couldn't control the moment she heard jungli billi. How dare this new boy call her jungli billi that too in front of her basti boys on whom she used to rule and showed attitude.
"Kyaa kaha tuune??" shera asked with full anger
"Jungli Billi" Veer replied enjoying. He was glad that he was finally able to repay her.
"Phir se bol" Shera told him
"JUNGLI BILLI" this time veer shouted loudly
The basti boys started laughing hearing the name jungli billi. No one knew more than them how right this name was for Shera.
Shera lost it fully this time. "Tum kya samajte ho apne aap ko??"
Veer said "Mai?...tuje kya lagta hai jungli billi?" This irritated Shera further.
"Bigde rais..Samjha??" Shera told lying still on top of him. And she started beating his chest with her soft hands.
For a second Veer couldn't believe. This little creature his jungli billi could say this much?? None of the girls ha had met till today had this much attitude and no one ever called him names like her.
Veer caught both her hands. He was strong and Shera had to stop beating him. Shera told him angrily "Mera haat chodo..warna..."
Now Veer was in full fun mood... "Warna kya?"
"Warna...warna...pehle chodke to dek" shera teased him.
Veer knew she was planning some mischief..something evilish was going on in her little but dangerous head..Veer was in some thought and his grip on Shera's hand loosened.
Shera took that opportunity and pulled Veer's cheeks! "Tum gussa karthe hue bahot cute lagthe ho". Veer was in shock for a moment,he just couldn't understand this mysterious girl at all.. Shera jumped off from his body and started running.. The basti boys started running behind her! Veer also got amused with the happening he too ran behind them.. It is like this Shera running madly followed by the basti boys who have no other interesting thing to do than to watch and follow Shera.. Veer found everything intersting he was a curious lad who wanted to know the reason behind everything so he too ran behind the basti boys..
Soon Veer could see that the basti boys slowed down.. They looked tired and stopped their running to take rest in a rock..Soon Veer reached them..Veer wasn't tired yet because he was full of excitement and thereby had a special energy which resulted due to it..
"Kya hua? Ruk kyo gaye? Ab shera?..."Veer asked them panting..
Basti Boys said "Shera ab basti pahuch gaye hogi..peeche jaane se koi matlab nahi"
Veer asked them "Shera basti ki hai?"
"Haan...Haan...woh hamaare basti ki hai"...
Veer wondered...Hmm no wonder she is ekdam jungli billi..She is used to this atmosphere 24*7..He smirked on the new finding about the girl..
"Chalo...tum bi aake dek lo hamaare basti" One of the boys invited him..
Veer was an adventerous person.. He suddenly got excited.. Soon the boys along with Veer reached Basti... It was late night now... Almost 12 past...But we could see light coming from some huts in the basti..Here and there some work was still going on..The boys led Veer to the biggest hut in the basti... One of the boys peeped through the door and came out fast...
"Shhh!!! Shera is asleep...Let us not disturb" he told them..
Veer wondered.. Jungli Billi slept this fast? He couldn't believe the girl who was full of energy and jumping around in front of him till last minute was now sleeping silently..
"Chal chodo usse...we will show you our basti.." In the faint moonlight the boys started walking taking Veer along with them..
Suddenly an elderly person came to view.. The boys ran to him.. He patted the basti boys.. Veer saw that the boys were now busy with the elderly person..he took the opporunity and swiftly made his way back to Shera's hut.. He opened the door and entered the room without making any nouse.. He looked into the bed.. Veer's.. He was shocked at the view he saw inside..
