"Kya hua Shera ko..?" Veer asked..He was worried about his jungli billi..

Ramu kaka didn't say anything.. He gestured Veer to follow him.. Veer,Deepu,Rahul and Kevin followed Ramu kaka's lead to the basti..Soon they reached basti.. Veer was getting restless.. He couldn't think at all "What could have happened to jungli billi that Ramu kaka is hesitant to speak up about it?" He hoped with all his heart that everything be fine..

Ramu kaka guided them to the biggest hut in the place.. There was Shera sitting with an angry face and surrounding her where almost everyone of basti.. Veer was so happy to see Shera safe and sound that he just ran to her and gave her a hug.. Veer was a small boy and he couldn't think twice before doing any action.. For kids their minds are clear.. For now what mattered for Veer was that Shera was safe and sound.. He almost forgot the fact that Ramu kaka was worried..Veer's friends where shocked but they didn't feel like strangers...There was some aura in the basti that whoever came into the place just felt comfortable.. We should say it had that homely feeling which made everyone feel home..

"TUM!!!!!" Shera spoke up to Veer

"Haan Main!!..KYON?? Bhool gayi itni jaldi..??" Veer answered

"jagada karne ki mood nahi hai..."Shera told him

"tera matlab ki mai jagadne aaya hoo?" Veer asked

"haan to?" Shera told him as if stating a fact..

"Mai tuje dekne aaya hoo" Veer told her raising his chest standing with attitude

"phir dekhliya?" Shera asked him

"Na..bas dekna shuru kiya" Veer told her winking

Shera got irritated she turns and sits facing the opposite side..Veer was surprised with this new attitude of Shera.. She usually used to fight back without losing energy..But today something was seriously a miss! Something's really wrong..

Ramu kaka came to the scene now.. He told Shera

"Beta..dekha Veer ke dosto ko?"

Shera hadn't seen Veer's friends..She turned and looked at them..She looked at Rahul,Deepu and Kevin for a few seconds.. Deepu liked the chubby girl at first sight and he gave her a wide smile.. Geet also smiled back.. and soon Rahul and Kevin also smiled and told their hi..Veer was also smiling seeing Shera smiling..

Then Veer remembered there was some problem.. He motioned his friends to stay with Shera and keep her busy..He then walked over to Ramu kaka.. Ramu kaka sensed Veer wanted to talk so he led Veer outside to a more quiet place in the basti.. "Kaka...kya hua? Woh itni gussa mai kyo hai?"

"Beta..woh...main kaise bataao??" Kaka told him

"Bataao na kaka...im worried"

"Beta...woh Shera ko hum boardiing mai bejna chahthe hai..koi acha school mai"

"Par kyo kaka?...yaha tho woh bahot kush hai na?" Veer replied

"Woh kush to hai...lekin uski padaai yaha par teek nahi hoga..beta usse bahot aage jaane ka hai" Kaka said wondering wether Veer wil understand..

"lekin...kya woh " Veer said

"Haan..woh bahot gusse mai hai..usse yaha se kahi nahi jaana hai.." Ramu kaka said..

"phir...?" Veer said with doubt..

"Maine city mai ek ache school mai uski admission le li hai..usse waha par agle mahine se jaana hoga as a regular student" Kaka said.. His voice was getting broken.. Veer sensed Ramu kaka was himself feeling very bad about sending Shera away..How wouldn't he? Ramu kaka was so close to Shera and Veer had seen the bond that Shera and Ramu kaka shared..

Veer told kaka "teek ho jaayega kaka.. aap bade ho..aap jaanthe hai shera ke liye kya acha hai..."

Kaka surprisingly felt light hearted hearing these words from Veer. It soothed him. Veer himself was feeling bad thinking shera will go far away.. But well,he is a child who is just past 6 years of age.. So within no time he was back to his normal self and was now thinking on a way as to how to make the last bit of weekdays special for his jungli billi..

He came back to Shera's hut..He saw her giggling at one of Deepu's joke! And as soon as Veer entered Shera became quiet.

"Jungli billi...muje tumse baat karna hai"

"Nahi karni muje..tu bi chahta hai ki mai yaha se jaao??" "phir to tuje poora jungle akele milega raaj karne keliye" Shera said..

That did hurt Veer he told her "Prince ko apne princess ke bina kya mazza?"

Shera looked into his eyes on that word..She felt good..But didn't show it on face..

"Kal tu mere ghar aa rahi hai..."

Shera's face suddenly lit up "Kya??" she said loudly as if not believing Veer's words..

"Maine kaha..tum mere saat mere ghar aa rahi ho kal"

Shera made a cute pout and didn't answer.. Veer looked confused and raised his eyebrows..Shera looked at Ramu Kaka.. Shera wanted to know if Kaka would let her go.. How could Kaka deny something that Shera wanted? And this would be a way to make up for sending her away to boarding school.

"Haan beta..i myself will leave you to Veer's house"

"Sachii??" shera asked unbelieving as she hasn't gone to any house other than the huts in her basti.. She has heard about basti people speaking that there are big big houses in the outside world with all sort of facilities.. Shera was an adventerous girl herself so in no time she got excited and her face brightened up.. All tension that was on her face due to the thought of going away just vanished. That is the beautiful thing regarding small kids.. They get over from their sour mood fast and they get happy with small small things..

Veer then told everyone bye and went back with his friends.. Veer wasn't late and guests were still at home. So he didn't have any problem in getting inside un noticed.. All friends spend the rest of the night sleeping in veer's room..

Next Day

Veer was excited that he had invited Shera to his home. Now he wanted to present the same to his parents.. "How??" "Howw" he was thinking!! Suddenly an idea came into his mind and he ran down the stairs in full speed..

"Dadiima!!!!!!" Maan screamed!

On hearing Maan's dadi rushed into the hall..

Maan was there panting..

"Dadima..muje ek baat..." he said still panting.. his breath was uneven due to the sudden excitement and running down the stairs in speed.

"Beta aaram se..." Dadi said as she sat on the sofa and gestured Maan to sit also..

Maan sat near to dadi and then after some seconds when his breath was steady..

He told Dadi"Dadi.. kya mai apne ek friend ko ghar bulao?? Lunch ke liye?"

"Beta..aaj achanak? Konsi baat hai?"Dadi enquired

"Woh dadi mera ek dost naye school jaa rahi hai..isiliye" Maan told dadi..

"Teek hai beta..kab bulana chathe ho usse?"

"Aaj..lunch teek hai?" Maan said

"hmm...tumhara dost hai...teek hai lunch..pad Maan bere"

"Haan dadi..boliye"

"Mai yeh soch rahi thi..aapki dost school chod ke jaa rahi hai to tumhe usse koi gift dena chahiye.." Dadima told maan

Maan suddenly jumped on the sofa "Kyaa baat kahi dadimaa...mai to socha bi nahi gift ke baate mai..haaan haan dena hai bilkul"

"dadima..dadimaa aap chalegi mere saat gift lene??"

"zaroor..mai apne ladle pote ko akele nahi bej sakti.." Dadi winked.. Maan just hugged his dadi..

"ab jaao ??"Maan asked dadi

"Teek hai...tum jaldi se tayyar hoke aa jao..mai Nakul ko lunch ke menu deti hoon..aakir tumhare dost special lunch hai" Dadi went towards kitchen..

Maan and dadima went to gift shop..Maan was really excited that he just could not make up his mind as to what gift to buy..

"Beta..yeh dekh" It was cricket kit for small kids..

"Dadimaa...mera dost ladki hai..." Maan said and started looking again at random things..

"Ladki??" Dadimaa was surprised at the new finding..

"Haan dadimaa...ab jaldi doondiye..time nikal raha hai"

They both looked at various things and well,later you will find out what Maan bought from the shop..
