Akshara is excited about her pregnancy and so is the whole family. But Naitik has developed some apprehensions about the change the baby would bring into their lives.

Here he is talking about his anxieties.

He reveals, "After a recent visit to my friend's place, I have begun thinking about how our lives will be altered once the baby is born. I was taken aback to see the changes in my friend's life after the birth of his son, Viraj. His life revolved around the boy and there was a huge transformation in him. He was no longer the carefree guy who would spend time with us. Even when he was talking to me, his attention was on Viraj. I began wondering how my life would change post our baby. Will I be able to do as I please or will my life and schedule too revolve around the baby? I noticed that my friend also had tiffs with his wife over trivial issues. I hope that doesn't happen with Akshara and me."

Does he plan to confide his fears in Akshara? "I guess these worries and anxieties are on a subconscious level not really on the fore yet. I am having mixed emotions. I am happy to be a father, looking forward to it actually, but I do question the future as well. I am trying to accept that change is inevitable, while resisting it. I know it is a contradiction but I can't help feeling so. I know being a father will be wonderful and I worry about Akshara's health too."

How does Naitik think Akshara might react to his worries? "Well, knowing Akshara, she will be my strength. I guess we will handle it together," smiles Natik.
