Why just Kareena? The same can be said for XYZ actresses. And anyway, they all need a bit of luck. You cannot just rely on talent alone in the industry. Kareena can act, although she has chosen some pathetic scripts in recent past that haven't done justice to that. At the end of the day, I don't think anyone actor/actress really care about the reasons behind their hit. A hit is a hit- period.

I haven't read the article, but just going by the title, I think hard work is a reason that she's gotten this far, because I remember some of her first few movies weren't the best, and it was so hard to watch her and she just seemed like a lil baby onscreen, it was super annoying, and now I think she improved a lot more. And she seemed to have mellowed down a bit in real life as well, but I guess that credit goes to Saifu lol.
