Katrina Kaif shrugs off YRF 'favourite' tag

The writing is on the wall — YRF has a new blue-eyed girl, and it's Katrina Kaif.

With multiple films from the production house falling into her kitty, there seems to be no stopping Kat. And her detractors aren't happy about it.

Says an industry analyst, "When YRF offered Kat a serious film like New York, everyone thought she was going to fall flat on her face. But the movie cleverly played up Kat's plus points. Now, with the brownie points she's earned for Mere Brother Ki Dulhan, YRF's faith in her seems to be well-founded."

But Kat isn't saying anything about her recently cemented position as the go-to girl for YRF. "See, we're all trying to do our best," she says.

"It's good to shoot for a film when you have a great script." If only Kat would get down her diplomatic horse…we'd love to hear some juicy comments for a change.
